We've been coming here for over 20 years since before the whole Todos Santos plaza area got a makeover. We almost always come for the lunch buffet which allows us to sample all the different curries, breads and main dishes.Everything served there tastes amazing, so many different flavors!!! If you like Indian food you'll love this place. Just note if... More

Our first warning should have been that when we walked in the door at lunchtime we weren't greeted by a heady melange of spices, herbs and aromatics. In fact, there was very little aroma at all. Nonetheless we tried the buffet. While there were quite a few dishes available, it tasted to us like each dish was flavored predominantly with... More

I went in with the intension of ordering Chicken Tikka and Chicken Tikka Masala as a dinner choice and was surprised to see both in the buffet. I'm not a buffet type person, but this one was probably the best I've had in Indian. Very flavorfull (surprisingly so). I'd go back in a heartbeat. Has beer/wine.

My coworkers and I started going to Swagat regularly when Namaste in Park n Shop closed. The restaurant is nice, the service is just OK. I'm just a lunch regular but one of my friends goes there for dinner too. Food is tasty.

I went with a friend to the lunch buffet at Swagat. They took my coupon for a buy-one-get-one-free dinner, even though it was still lunchtime. We paid $5 each, plus tax and tip. The waitress took my used plate as I went for seconds. It was a nice introduction to Indian food. They had an American-style lettuce salad, lentil soup,... More

While enjoying the buffet today at Swagat, my wife & I mused that we had been eating there for 18 years, often by ourselves but frequently with the whole family for birthday celebrations and the like. We were introduced to Swagat by Indian friends from New Delhi because of their dosa which is excellent. However, it is the buffet which... More

Party of five went on a Saturday evening to try their buffet. We were lucky to be seated right away. Service was commendable. Our water glasses were refilled promptly. I liked their butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. I was glad the dishes weren't too spicy. I wish I asked the owner for tips on when and how to use... More
