I've been going to EJ Phair for a few years now and I only get the fish and chips now. The fish has a light batter and comes out crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It has great flavor and comes with a light tarter sauce with a touch of dill. It is almost always cooked to... More

Living in England in the 90s left me with a hatred of pub food. So when my father-in-law said we were going to a pub for lunch, I cringed. But the food was great!!! Good beer selection, great appetizers, large portions, and a good variety of items to choose from. Yes it is loud, no the food is not fine... More

This place is average at best. The service is slow, and the beer is warm. They have great out door seating for people watching.

I have given this place two chances. To be honest, the food is average, and the beer is so - so. There are too many other choices out there to just accept average.

Been to this brew pub a few times. They have an excellent beer selection that changes frequently. They are also willing to give a few tastes as part of your selection process. For the most part, the food is good as well. However, the jaegerschnitzel was quite bland. The mushroom grave had no flavor right along with the spaetzel. The... More

We have been to this restaurant many times in the past. The beers are okay and the food, typical brew pub fare. We have enjoyed a few afternoons here watching baseball or football and sampling the various beers. The personnel and service have always been great. However today, a Thursday, I met my wife and daughter for lunch. We arrived... More

We enjoy going to E. J. Phair frequently. The beer is great. The food is a little better than your average pub grub, but....it's still pub grub! There's a nice vibe. It's noisy but we can still manage a conversation.

This is such a nice place to go - food is very good, lots of good beer on tap, indoor and outdoor dining is enjoyable. However, I avoid this during peak hour because the acoustics are terrible and it gets so loud you can't communicate.

Get there for happy hour. Have a face puncher or bellywasher and your day will seem all the better. Next finish with a round of Nachos and Chicken wings. Sit out side winter or summer. Good place for after work fun....

Consistently good food, fast service. Great "pub food", simple but good, with decent, tasty veggie options, and amazing shoestring fries. Would highly recommend!
