Came here for a luncheon with coworkers during the week. Valet or self park is available. It was a Tuesday and we were seated immediately. I went with the prime rib sammie which included soup or salad and seasoned fries. The prime rib was tender and a the a jus was perfect for dipping and flavor. Stevens has been around... More

One of the best places I've EVER been to. Stephanie and her brother own it - 4th generation. Came out to thank us personally like we were important. Best food ever. Come hungry. Oh, Frances (Wonder Woman) is the best server!!!

Very warm welcome, lovely staff albeit dressed strangely, waitresses have bunny girl style costumes... Cutlery and tables a bit grubby, the period vibe is nice. Ordered a main each and were amazed everything comes with a complimentary soup and pasta course! Valet parking but it's $4 so if I'd known I would have parked in the street.

Having never been here before I was a bit reluctant based on the age of the place and how it caters to large groups and banquets. However I was pleasantly surprised on how good my steak was. You get a side of pasta with your entree along with vegetable and some type of potato. The meat was very good, cooked... More

I came here for a business lunch with a client who knew it. Bit of a strange location - an island in industrial area though not far as the crow flies from the Citadel Outlets. There's obviously a large evening dance clientele ( that's of flyers for that inside the lobby - hey they have to build their business however... More

I have wanted to try these classes after a friend I saw salsa dance. She told me she took the classes here and it was for a bit and she learned to dance and she is like a professional, in my opinion. The classes seemed hard because I started in the boot camp Sunday and its very overwelming if you... More

I didn't go to Steven's for the food. I went for the salsa dancing. The building is very old school, but it has charm. There is a dance floor on either side of the restaurant. Steven's is the go-to spot for salsa and bachata in East L.A. They have dance socials every night, but Sundays and Wednesdays are the really... More

I remember dining here 20 years ago and thought the food was quite good. We recently returned for lunch. The place looked the same as it did in the 1990's so it is in serious need of upgrades. We were seated right away and our server was very friendly. I chose the ribs from the lunch menu and my wife... More

If you're looking for a little blast from the past, then give Steven's a try. As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere and service take you back to a classier and more civilized time. The host was polite in the extreme, efficient in his attention. I can't remember the last time a host or hostess pulled out a table... More

NOTHING and I mean, NOTHING, beats a throwback steakhouse. Like the Top in Columbus, Stevens is a classic where any minute you expect the Rat Pack to come out and there should be smoke lingering in the air. The service is that same old style, abrupt, not ready to answer questions but quick and perfunctory, a lot like Peter Luger's.... More
