Right beside the historic buildings lies this Mexican Restaurant. Food was tasty. Awesome guacamole. Good Service.

My wife and I stopped at El Jardin for lunch, and we were very happy. We enjoyed a picnic table in the cozy patio out front. It's nice to sit outside on a sunny day, although unfortunately there's a bit of road noise. The service and the food were great. I had an Enchilada, and my wife has a lemon...

I find the food to be consistent in quality, the service is good and the prices are reasonable. My favorite here is the Tostada supreme, the chile Verde' is excellent and they put together an aw-sum burrito. I recommend and will return often.
Actually El Jardin has three local restaurants - one in Sonora, one in Columbia and the newest one in Murphys which is my favorite. El Jardin is a mexican food restaurant. While the Tacos, etc. are good, what sets El Jardin apart is the service in all three locations. All of the wait staff I have had the pleasure to...

The husband, baby, and I recently stayed overnight in old town Columbia. Fun place to stay, but everything closes up by 6 or so. We were about to head to the car and drive to Sonora for dinner, when we spotted El Jardin. It's right on the main road and just across the street from old town. We sat outside....

This is the onlyThis is the only restaurant in town that stays open past 5 on the weekdays so I wasn’t expecting much from a place that has no competition. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised. The food was VERY tasty, the staff were super friendly and the portions were huge. I would definitely go there again.
Easy to find and delicous! We went in September and sat out on the fragrant patio. it is one of the first restaurants you reach on the main hiway so hungry people are happy to encounter it. We also had beer and cocktails.
Columbia is one of my favorite places. I did not know it could get any better until El Jardin came into town. We have been going there since the beginning. The service and food is consistently great. The atmosphere is lovely too and decorated nicely. It's comfortable for dining in or outside on their patio. Also, great for take out!...

This is a bit late - we travelled the West Coast in Sept 2010. The meal we had here was the best we had during our month long holiday in the States. It was a balmy Sunday evening, the place was packed, but we were seated without a reservation. The food and couple of beers made our visit to Columbia...
