Definitely worth checking out.

Good food and a goodly amount of it. I could not eat all my lunch and took the remainder home where it mad lunch the next day. I had a Taco and tostada that came with rice and beans. The service was good, quick and the beer was in a large glass that looked like it would hold a large... More

Restaurant is a little dark and loud. Food is good, but not really great. Our waitress was friendly. Not a bad visit, but nothing to write home about.

We went there for dinner on a Wednesday evening and the place was full and noisy .The menu offers a wide selection of Mexican food and the prices are affordable . We found the portions to be HUGE ! In fact the sampler platter is big enough to be considered as a full meal for 2 ! The food is... More

Restaurant is loud, food is par for the course and the staff were too busy to be available to refill drinks and chips. When it came to our bill it was wrong and we had a huge argument with the hostess and she was unable to get the point that we were over charged. We had to wait fifteen minutes... More

I stopped by for an early supper on the recommendation of a local. ON the suggestion of the waiter, I ordered the fajita tostada. Very good and flavorful. I also ordered a ground beef taco, just to see what they were like. It was a meal within itself, but the best part was their deep fried taco shell. It made... More

We sopped by "Sal's" on Friday after some antique shopping & work. The place was hopping for happy hour, and even though the place was packed, we got great service, lots of warm chips and salsa. We split a fajita quesadilla and a drink, and did not need dinner later. The place is dated, but clean and a great value.... More

Popped in whilst shopping in old town Clovis and had a few drinks. There wasn't much atmosphere (it was about mid day) but the staff were friendly. The menu looked alright but we fancied sitting out in the sun so went elsewhere. Price wise, drink were a bit pricy (long island iced tea was $8)

once I got past the dank smell of this place I was able to enjoy a pretty reasonable meal. they had to call in an extra server to manage our group of 11 but did so and we were all pretty happy with our meals. - the place needs a good clean and freshen up

All the little things that make a difference....chips are served warm, salsa is fresh, beers are served ice cold with ice cold glasses and food is great! We know we can count on consistency at this restaurant. Always a great experience!
