Since the original in 1980...Still and always our favorite! Great service! Excellent food...and we like to try any new mexican restaurant. Short rib burrito and Fancy burrito are always a hit. Try the rico tacos or the shredded beef tacos. MMMMM good! Great margaritas too!

Talked my husband into trying this restaurant instead of the one we normally go to when in Clovis. Service was great with very pleasant staff. Chips and salsa very good. However, the flour tortilla nachos were overcooked with very little flavor and his enchilada/taco combo was average. We won't return.

In truth, there isn't much to choose from when it comes to quality Mexican food in a town where one would expect much better. There are local taquerias that serve better and more consistent quality mexican food that Sal's as it is known. It is foremost a cantina with a large open restaurant on one side. It is pleasant, but... More

Recently moved into the area and heard how wonderful Bobby Salazar's was for Chili Verde (we haven't tried that one yet). Been there twice for a late lunch and margaritas. Drinks were consistently very good with very timely service, salsa and chips were endless -- exceptional salsa!! First lunch was a combo plate with a tamale and relleno. Rice and... More

This has been a stand-by in Clovis for a long time and we've enjoyed many meals here. A favorite thing to do is stop in at happy hour and share an appetizer with one of our kids or just as a couple. It will remain a go-to place for us.

Chips and salsa was fantastic. Endless Bowls. I had the new Spicy Chicken Tacos. Delicious. The food was so good we catered a store party for 50 people 2 days after I ate there. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

Went here for dinner while staying in town for one night. It was crowded, so we thought it was probably good. We didn't have to wait and were quickly brought chips and salsa. Very tasty. DH and I both ordered the fajitas (one steak and one chicken). Portions were large, and the fajitas were very good. We were not disappointed.Service... More

Stopped in for lunch mid afternoon. No crowd, attentive staff. Had Fiesta Sampler and Guadalajara Shrimp. More than enough food for two. All tasty and seemed fresh.

Big roomy restaurant, lots of tvs and very good food. Chips and Salsa are fresh and taste great, same with the Taquitos and Tamales they are excellent. My favorite was the Menudo, it's the best I've ever had, and I 've had lots of Menudo in my life. We were just passing through town, but I'd definetly go back there... More
