It is entertaining to watch the chefs cook on a hot grill with all of your friends or family watching them prepare the food. I personally like their scallops. They offer both steaks, seafood, vegetables, fried rice as you watch. The chefs are very entertaining . Best to arrive early for dinner because large groups come for birthdays, etc and... More

Very nice eating experience overall. I usually visit Benihana with family for special occasions, but this time I took a friend who lives in the Sacramento area who never been to this type of restaurant. Although it was very hot and I was sweating inside (being a big bear it was difficult) the Benihana experience for dinner was just as... More

Benihana is busy, loud and fun, a good place to celebrate a birthday. The teppan food is mediocre but fun to watch. Our chef seemed to be "in training" and missed 75% of his tricks. We tried to be encouraging, but it was rather sad. The teppan food is prepared with normal seasoning, but that's all. It is put on... More

My family and I have been coming here for years. Can't say enough about the "yum yum" ginger sauce, it's great. Love the onion soup, and their ginger salad dressing. The cooks used to put on a great show... Not so much any more. Hardly worth the $$$ for the small portions of food you get... I think the management... More

So I have been to at least 15-20 different locations; and this one is by far: THE WORST!!! I brought 2 guest that have never been to a Benihana before, and we had THE WORST experience ever! I told them up front and at the table, they have never been; and we got a horrible chef. HE DID ZERO TRICKS!... More

I loved everything: fried rice, fillet mignon, lobster tales, but the best was chef who charmed the kids and kept their attention. It always helps when somebody else can entertain them while you are eating:)

We came for a Saturday night dinner - the kids love Benihana in the city and this was our first time out to this particular location. Tracy made our night! He was funny, a great cook and just incredibly entertaining. He brought the table together (you have to share a table if your party is less than 8) and had... More

We went there as a party of 7 as we had another family come with us & I can honestly say everyone had a great time! We had 3 pre teen with us & they spent a great deal of time amazed at the fast hands, chopping, throwing, spearing, & thoroughly entertaining us. The food was amazing.....bursting with flavor &...
