The food is pretty average, and the prices seem to be going up for a very small nondescript place with very little seating and a long standing wait, if you just happen to walk in. The best thing to do is call in your order, otherwise I have stood for l/2 hour at least waiting for my order to come... More

New to the area and was told to go here from a friend! Best food! They even have horchata!! Love it! Huge portions and very cheap. Was not disappointed at all and would return every night. Actually, gonna head there right now!!

I have had better Mexican food in my own kitchen. Big portions but bland food. Meat and chicken were not seasoned at all and the prices were a bit high for the quality. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

The first time I ate here was in the 70's I think, And I remember it was the flying saucer which is the best tostada I have ever had in my life. I guess all thier food is good, but I can't get past the flying saucer....It is just too good!! I have also been to Lolitas in Bonita which... More

This place is always packed and I still don't know why... Went here for some fish tacos on a Friday night. As usual, there was a huge wait (out the door). I ordered the two fish taco combo. I was told that it was a 30 minute wait. After 45 minutes, I received my order. The salsa bar was virtually... More

Lots of different items on the menu. Lunch specials each day. It takes a little time to get food because each order is made fresh. There is a sign that tells you that good food is worth waiting for. But, even so, it's not a long wait. Sometimes there is a line because the food is so good. I have... More

This place use to be the best taco shop in all of San diego but it is not good any more. Portions and food quality had decreased as well as service. Don't expect much

I ate at Lolita's Taco shop while visiting a relative in Chula Vista. Over the course of my trip, I returned several times. The tacos and quesadillas tasted fresh but a little bland. My chips were very soggy. The condiments were not too spicy. When I return at the end of October, I'd like to try the California burrito. For... More

My wife and I had to go to Chula Vista for an appointment for her to get her Global Entry card so we figured we would stop and eat some great Mexican food. I looked online to see which places had some great reviews and found all sorts of people raving about Lolitas Taco Shop. I saw that it was... More

Their Carne Asada is good, I like that they take time to make their food. I like their Chips with Pollo Asado and Pollo Asado Burritos they are good. They have all kinds of good condiments. I just wish they would have a little more help when busy. If you order by phone usually things get done right. and prices... More
