Nice atmosphere on the marina

Our friends picked us up at the airport and then took us here for dinner. Unfortunately, it was a rainy night and dark by the time we arrived, so didn't get to see much of a view of the marina. Three had the fish and chips, which was very good. I had the grilled swordfish, which I was not... read more

Love the Galley! Live music on their big patio. Best fish and chips in town. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Right on the water at Chula Vista Harbor.

We had a table by the window, so pretty to look out at the boats and water at sunset. We went on all you can eat fish night. Food was great and enough the first helping that we didn't need seconds. Service was very courteous.

First we were seated where we didn't want to be, explanation was other tables reserved, but no one came for entirety of our dinner. Waiters kept ignoring us, service was sow, and staff was very unwelcoming. I felt like they were giving us a favor to even come to our table. Interesting part, when we finally paid, we divided our... Called for information regarding the live music and the person goes "yea it starts at 6" click. Go to check out the scene and all the tables are reserved on the patio and in the bar. So if you are looking for live music at the spur of the moment I would not recommend this place. Its impossible to watch... More

We have been coming here for years, good food, nice atmosphere and great Bloody Mary's. However, today when I ask for salsa for my $11 chorizo breakfast I was told there is a 50 cent additional charge. What next, Fran, are you going to charge extra for mustard and catsup?

This is a lovely, dockside restaurant with a view that can't be beat. The food and service have been great each time I've visited and the portions are quite generous. The ambiance is just wonderful on the patio ~ gazing at the boats alongside as you dine. Very family~friendly and "beachy". They have music on the patio on Sunday ~... More

Nice location. Full house. Understaffed. So I have to think they really don't care much. My Southwestern chicken sandwich was a tasteless, glorified grilled cheese sandwich with chicken in the middle, yet on the adult menu. Yuck. When I mentioned the blandness to the waitress, she replied "well next time add some...." and never finished her sentence. My partner's fish... More

Went for breakfast at 9:00 on the patio. The table was reserved for a party of 2 at 11:00 am. My daughter and I received our food and the waitress came over and told us we had to move because the reservation showed up they were an hour early. Instead of having them go to the bar and wait b... This place is a great location, on Sunday's they have music. Great for families and couples. You can eat indoors or out. The portions are very large I shared practically everything with my husband. They have great clam chowder with cheese bread it comes with, tasted amazing. We also ordered the sampler appetizer that itself is like a meal after... More
