Very busy place. I was meeting a long-time friend for dinner while I was in town. She has been here before. The food was very good, but the wait for it was crazy. Very busy and we ate in the bar area since we did not have a reservation for the dining room. Hard to get bartenders attention as they... More

My husbands grandparents brought us here because it's one of the rare spots on the marina. The service was great, the restaurant was comfortable and had a pleasant view. The food was good and the best part - happy hour prices in the restaurant (you didn't have to sit in the bar). The owner stopped by to say "hello" when... More

Went really wanting a good burger and fries, but it was pasta night (all you can eat), and it was pretty darn good, especially with wine. Maybe try the burgers tomorrow night. Staying at the Chula Vista RV Resort around the corner, which we highly recommend for RVers.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with my elderly father, who lives nearby and loves this place. Our waitress was wonderful. She was patient with my dad throughout the meal. She didn't bat an eye when he asked for a To Go box and boxed up everything including the salad dressing. Not all servers are that patient... More

The Chicken Tortilla Soup was excellent. The service was friendly. The fish, or was it the cook,?, tasted very flat and not like four weeks ago. We all ordered Fish and Chips but one of us. The Blackened Red Snapper was not up to it's standard either. Should have flavor but not be just peppers. Today just was not the... More

The setting is awesome, right at the Marina in Chula Vista, many boats and a beautiful harbor. Was there at sunset which was a plus. However, the service was slow and the waitress was not very friendly. The swordfish was hard, tasted OK, but I like my fish flaky and it was not.

Food and service was wonderful even on a holiday. We enjoyed the view of the harbor warm breeze off the bay. Best complimentary muffins after you order could have eaten many. Only downside is they once allowed pets and now they don't won't be going back anytime soon.

We have been occasional regulars at the Galley for 10 years. We have a boat at the Marina where it is located and so it is convenient. However, the food is well worth a trip down to Chula Vista, especially for their Fish and Chips. Always fresh and plentiful and lightly battered. In fact, everything we have ever had at... More

It is close to the bay and really not bad food. They had a live bad which was exceptional! The food was good and not overly priced. The service could have been better as my glass of wine sat for a good 10 minutes before it was brought to me. For the area, I would eat here again. It would... More

We took our 87 year old mother for her birthday celebration to the Galley. We ordered appetizers and drinks waiting for the fish fry to start. We were a group and asked for 2 tickets for different parties at the table. The other party accidenty knocked over a glass of wine (no biggy but fits into the story later. When... More
