The location is very nice. The restaurant looks good and has a good atmosphere. But some of the dishes are not exactly a good as other locations. The antipasto needs work. The pizza is good. I like the fact that the menu has a few more options that other locations.

The best lunches and dinner in town. Today was Minestroni soup, Philly sandwich and a small antipasto salad. Beautiful, delicious, and wonderful. They have the very best pizza's. Plenty to eat, great atmosphere, and superb service. Lots of locals here. Plenty of Fillippi's around the county, and I have been to most. Quality, quantity, and I am going there for... More

I'll keep this brief. I live in San Diego and just wanted some pasta that I didn't have to make. This place is terrible - everything about it is terrible. The pasta was completely overcooked, watery and the sauce was awful. The service was equally as bad - server couldn't have cared less whether or not she took care of... More

Food is good, prices are extremely reasonable. Restaurant is unique, has good decorations. Service was alright, however they were extremely busy so that is acceptable.

This Italian restaurant is decent and very good. Been here a couple of times with the family. All salads are good and fresh, cheesy Pizza are very very good, pasta dishes are above average. Portions sizes are great. A large Cesar Salad, can feed 5~6. The place may be some what decor outdated, but makes you feel in a family... More

Filippi's Pizza is always perfect! It's truly the only pizza we'll eat, order out & take out. We get a variety of pizza toppings each time so it's a surprise with every order!

This is the best italian food in Chula Vista. Great cheesy pizzas, wonderful pastas, great portions and a family friendly atmosphere. Was here during an earthquaque a few years ago and the staff was very professional leading the customers out of the establishment in an efficient and safe manner. Try the huge meatballs and their delicious spaghetti. Free refills on... More

Slow service, lack luster appearance and less tasty than expected -- that's what our family members said on leaving. The Filippi's restaurants are operated by different members of the family and you will LOVE the ones in Little Italy, Jamul, or Imperial Beach, but dodge this one. It's a dud!

We liked the busy local family atmosphere and the friendly service. The food we ordered was not great. We had a small salad which was a huge bowl of iceberg lettuce and a very greasy pasta primavera.

I have eaten here for over 30 years. large portions of food, Their Meatballs are huge, bigger than anyone in San Diego. Pizze you do not want to say extra cheese, they put a ton of it on. Service is great as is the food
