When we walked up to the place, the outside of the building looked rather dingy, however upon being greeted by the hostess we knew this would be an amazing place. The atmosphere is one of a true italian restaurant. We had tried 2 appetizers, one a garlic rich soup which was spicy and to die for, and the other a... More

I had been there 3 or 4 times before and used to be excelent, this time was not. First, the waiter did not offer any special dinner of the day as always, I guess there was not any on sunday. We ordered a carriott soup and spinach salad both with no flavor at all, but I mean no flavor. Lasagna... More

Came here for date night and I should have known as soon as we walked in that it was not going to be amazing. At the very entrance to the restaurant is a small table that proudly displays boxes of "barilla" pasta noodles. Now being that Little Italy is just 15 mins away, even if you don't make your own... Had dinner on many occasions and have never been disappointed. If a meal is not on the menu they will accommodate any reasonable request.

I had the Panzerotti Camarata, a ravioli dish with shrimp in a brandy cream sauce. Prepared so one can taste each ingredient, and not over-done like so many Italian dishes are often made. The Arugula salad was fresh with lots of flavor. My husband had the Pollo Parmigiano, also excellent and not over breaded and with just the herbs and... More

I had the opportunity to have lunch here on a Monday with three colleagues. The service was excellent and not doting. The tables were set well with an attractive bottle of red on each. I had the bowtie pasta with salmon that was excellent but perhaps a little oversauced. The bread was stale and the olive oil with balsamic was... More

Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service for lunch yesterday. We're new neighbors after being gone for 5 years. Very happy to discover this gem in downtown Chula Vista! Another great rain to love it here! Can't wait to try dinner, too.
