The Sicilian Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Chico. Everything on the menu is great. The wine selection is one of the best in Chico as well. My favorite is the Chicken Piccata.

My family has been here many times, but this year my office chose to have our Christmas party here and it was great! We had a group of 13 and were seated in the main dining room. It was very busy, but the staff was quite attentive. We had calamari appetizers to start, my favorite, and everyone loved it. We... More

I have never eaten at Sicilian cafe before though I have been told by many that it is a favorite of theirs. The four of us celebrating my birthday certainly do wonder what went wrong tonight as our food was quite below the standards we had been expecting from such a well recommend restaurant. The caliber of food was definitely... More

From the romantic music playing in the background to the quiet romantic restaurant topped off with excellent excellent food we highly recommend the Sicilian Cafe. We like the relaxing intimacy of sitting inside however there is also a patio area that is more casual. No matter where you sit James and his staff always present great service and an excellent... We were traveling through Chico and ate at this fine restaurant. I had the cannelloni and my partner had the seafood manicotti. Both were excellent, although the manicotti produced some plate envy. They have a very good wine list, and we enjoyed a sangiovese for under $25. They were open on Monday (most Chico restaurants seem to be closed Sun-Wed).... More

Arrived at 8 p.m. in early spring. Sat outdoors in a covered area overlooking the stream. I ordered homemade butternut ravioli and salad, served with side dishes of risotto and spinach. My dining companion ate chicken piccata and salad. Everything from both meals was delicious. Bread was served warm, with an accompanying mixture of olive oil and balsamic. Also an... More

They have the best Italian food in town, my husband is Boston Italian and this is the best he has had outside Boston in the Chico area. It is very hard to find veal on a menu but they do a fantastic job with it. The only drawback we found was parking is extremely difficult. Once you have been there... More

Sicilian Café is by far the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in Chico/Butte County and probably in all of Northern California. James Taylor puts his heart and soul in every dish that comes out to a customer. Every meal is complete with a delicious salad or cup of soup, an excellent antipasto plate, amazing entrees with a pasta side.... More

This place is a laid kind of sophisticated Italian Restaurant. Gentile and European come to mind. The food is quite excellent and the atmosphere is quite and relaxed. It is the kind of place to spend a romantic evening in or get dressed up and go to the theatre or just spend some time in a jacket talking to people... More
