Very small concession in the commercial building at the corner of 3rd & Broadway. I stop in Sultan's Bistro because it is the only place in Chico that makes a decent gyros. Not Chicago, but close enough.

Do not bother with this establishment. There are so many things wrong it's hard to list them in all a brief review. First, the food quality is poor. The tzatziki sauce is watered down and is a cheap version of gyros. The soda dispenser is out of most of the options. And the ice dispenser won't stop dispensing ice into... More

Sultan's Bistro has been around for a number of years and I still love to visit. I'll admit the service and food quality seems to have changed over the years, but I still enjoy stopping in for lunch on occasion. It seems these days that you must prepare yourself for a good 25-30 minute wait for your food and I'm... More

Sultan's USED to be my favorite place to go for good falafal in a chicken platter. It was pricey but worth every cent! Now, not so much. Probably the most disappointing food today. Ordered the Chicken and Rice plate, which took 30 mins to get. The portions were so small that if I slid everything over it would only take... More

I have been going to Sultans for 15 years and it used to be five stars but now it is two stars. The food is edible but bland - you can get better hummus, tzatziki, falafel and pita at Trader Joes.

Mmmmmmm . . . Gyros! They're good here --- plenty of meat and fresh veggies to make an entire meal. 'Nuff said.

Their food is great. I get their gyro plate and my vegetarian wife gets the Mediterranean platter or felafel gyro. Sometimes it takes a while to get the food, but that's understandable as there is usually only one person working.

I've been going to this restaurant since I lived in Chico 12 years ago, and it never disappoints. In fact, every time I go to Chico, I have to stop in for a chicken gyro & side of dolmas. You can't go wrong!

The gyros were different then they were in Greece, and more expensive too. I ordered the beef and lamb gyro, because they don't have pork gyros, and the guy made it wrong. The meat wasn't crispy enough, it didn't have fries in it, like it's supposed to, and it was overstuffed with ingredients not found in a traditional Greek gyro.... More

This place was horrible, me and my wife got two chicken gyros with some friends that came in from out of town. When we ordered the girl that was working was not friendly at all. When my wife ordered a felafel gyro the girl says....um.......that will take at least 15 minutes.....so my wife opted for the chicken. When our friends... More
