Great Breakfast in a Neat Town

My husband and I ate a late breakfast here on a Saturday after visiting the farmer's market. This is a rather large restaurant inside that is cheerfully decorated including a number of photos related to the word, "mom." We had a nice waitress that was very pleasant and attentive. I had a business lunch this past Friday. My guest had not arrived yet, so I stood waiting to be recognized for approximately 5 full minutes. There were 5 staff milling around, no contact either eye or vocal. When my guest arrived, we waited for 2 more minutes and we were asked we we wanted a table for 2. Then... More

I was very disappointed with the "sweet vanilla breve" as there was no vanilla in it whatsoever, but the eggs benedict was the best of my entire life, even better than the Indigo restaurant in the Riverside Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, the previous #1 spot on my list. I mean, really, really good. Service was fast and efficient and very... More

This is a very popular spot for breakfast for many reasons. The food is terrific, the portions are large, and the service is friendly and efficient. We had a bit of a wait on a Sunday morning. The bad news is that there is really no place to wait inside. Since it was pouring rain, we squeezed inside, but we... More

One thing you can count on at Mom's is that the portions will be huge. That includes the oversized mugs in which their excellent coffee is served. If you are looking for a light breakfast featuring fruit this is not your place. This is where all of the classic breakfast dishes are prepared with a twist and appetizingly presented. I... More

There were 6 of us, we had prompt attentive service. The food was excellent, we were there for breakfast and had different dishes that all were complimented on by the group. The Bloody Marys were great! We thought it would be a long wait, but, they move people through this place with ease, no rush feel, but prompt food service... More

We were sceptical at first, but went in anyway. The decor is nice and the service is good. It's a bit pricey on some things and reasonable on others. Four dollars for a beer and 2.69 for soda is a bit high. Kids meals are OK...btwn $4-$6..appetizers are separate of course. Overall it was a nice place to eat..

Took my wife and college girl here, food and service are fantastic. Chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, home fried potatoes, eggs, this trip. I will definitely eat there again when I visit.

Mom's has great service and about half of their menu items are really tasty. I personally love the Cobb salad. The salad has fresh chicken, greens, crumbled blue cheese, bacon, avocado, cucumber, hard-boiled egg and tomatoes. I hate Gouda cheese so I ask them to leave it off. I also like the green eggs and ham. The corned beef Reuben... More
