Artisan pizzas and other fabulous dishes in a convenient downtown location

Indoor seating is a little tight but gives great views of the oven and activity behind the counter. Outdoors is nice with well-spaced seating, though both it and the inside suffer... More

Granular knowledge of fine cuisine. My wife and I were served a beautifully-balanced pork cheek ragù the first night we went to Grana--we raised our eyebrows, then we ordered more dishes. We've gone back, and we've gone back again, and now we go back regularly. The wood-fired pizzas come down from a heaven of their own. Nearly twenty years of... More

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous pizza in the patio area on a beautiful day. The service was very attentive and welcoming. The hostess is the reason we decided to eat there. She described the (real Italy) pizza starting with the oven imported from Italy and the thin crunchy crusted pizzas. She also suggested the meatball appetizer and it... More

Very good pizza. STaff very accommodating when it comes to customizing your food. Very attentive and making sure you enjoy the meal. WE chose indoors- although outdoors looked better. Try the vegetarian pizza. Good selection of craft beer.

Grana has the freshest and most sophisticated food in Chico. The ever changing menu is imaginative and delicious, using local ingredients whenever possible. Great wine list too. Sit on the patio if you can!!

Another very solid evening at Granas--pizza and salad for me; braised pork cheek and salad for guest. Full bodied reds rounded out a wonderful evening. I do think that on warmish evenings the seating outside (though near a busy street its sequestered with a little sense and some baffles/plants) is preferable to the interminable noise that every restaurant in chico... Eight of us (two children) went to Grana after a Little League game. We ordered all sorts of Italian food to pass around, washed down with great beer. They specialize in wood fired neapolitan pizzas, but we had lots more. The flatbread is hot and amazing. Indoor and outdoor tables.

We drove downtown looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon this gem. We sat outside on the patio, which was a great treat after spending all day in the car. We shared a salad and a pizza and had a couple of glasses of wine. Both the hostess and the waitress were very helpful and friendly. Food was... More

I've been coming to Grana since they first opened. I have always loved the farm to Table food and what the were trying to bring to the folks of Chico but lately I have noticed that the owners personality has been a bit dismissive and his past great service coming from his wait staff has been diminished as well as... My husband and I have heard about Grana over the years and finally decided to go there recently. The location downtown is perfect and parking is plentiful out front. There's lots of outside seating and the hostess and our waiter were very friendly. The menu is in Italian and when our pizza first came out from the oven we were... More
