One of the best burgers in Chico

Small place and always busy...worth the wait. Hamburgers are great and atmosphere casual. We always enjoy our visits to Nobby's.

I had lived in Chico for years without trying Nobby's. While watching an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, the host, Guy Fieri, said his favorite hamburger in the world was Squeeze Inn in Sacramento. Someone told me that Nobby's was part of the same family, and basically had the same burger as Squeeze Inn. I then tried Nobby's and... More

Nobby's has burgers that are hard to beat. They are huge, delicious and nicely priced. A real treat if you are a burger lover.

Big burgers, too greasy for my taste but seemed popular, and you don't choose a burger for health reasons do you!

The burger was awesome. Buns were great. The fried cheese from melting on the grill was the best. It is a small building so there isn't much seating.

I liked everything about this joint! I think it used to be a small automotive place of some sort but now they are putting out one of the best burgers I have ever had! The service is friendly as well!

Nobby's is as well know in Chico as the place to get a burger. Nobby's has been around for a long time, and cranking out as good of burger as you can get.

So, if I can have just one wish, Mr/Ms. Hamburger Fairy… The next time I go to Chico, please drop me in front of Nobby’s for my burger fix. Nobby’s is in this small northern California college town. I assume that all “Chiconians” know about Nobby’s and have been there many times, at least when they have permission from their... More

This place is awesome! They only accept cash and they have interesting hours but definitely worth going to. The best thing here is their cheddar cheese burger. They put the burger on a skillet, drop a hand-full of cheddar on top, the cheddar melts on the burger but creates a crispy halo around it that is most excellent.

All you need to know is order the Nobby cheeseburger- a petite is plenty! The cheese skirt is to die for and the bun nice and soft- note you may need to speed up checking off your bucket list after indulging as your arteries harden as you eat; but what a way to go!!! Too bad dining area is minuscule... More
