Great sandwich

Had the veggie sandwich with pasta salad. The bread was wonderful and the veggies so flavorful. The pasta salad was not my favorite but it was good. The next time I went I had pizza and they do a great pizza!! A must try.

Canned tomato soup and sauce on the pizza wasn't good. My partner said the chicken on his spinach salad wasn't great either. The service and ambiance was good though.

This diner is upstairs from Jon and Bon's yogurt shop. They have seating spread outside of their main cafe but service is best in the main room. Service is not fast. The food is good but not great. Nothing super special here.

The focaccia sandwitches with salads never fail; and daily pizza specials are rich, flavorful and generously sized. Always a table open thou service can be slow with high demand and small kitchen. But friendly, accurate service and bright windows and a wonderful environment for conversation puts this place at the top of chico lunch places. Out of town guests will... More

Delightful creative sandwiches is their signature treat. Surely pleased our group with every visit. Looking for a light dinner and found ourself with more than we could eat. Toasted artisan bread with pastrami, not your ordinary sandwich. Chief created tomato basil soup and or fresh salad.

Located upstairs in an old town-down building, this cozy restaurant offer great soups, sandwiches and salads. The staff are friendly and the food portions are very generous and well prepared. (Consider sharing a sandwich if you have an average appetite!) Suggest visiting when the college students are out on break, 'cuz down town parking can be a challenge. There is... More

The setting upstairs is unusual with part of the dining area next to the atrium which looks down to the shops & restaurants below. Other areas allow views of Broadway. The sound is a little echo-y, but the food makes it worth a visit. Their pizza is unique and very tasty, as are their specialty sandwiches, like the Moroccan chicken.... More

We went to this restaurant after reading some other reviews and viewing their menu. We were looking for a restaurant that could accommodate gluten-free preferences. Although this restaurant was heavy on pasta and pizza, there were some good selections in the fish and salad area. The salmon was wild-caught and prepared perfectly. My chicken parmigiana was also well prepared. The... More

Nice wine and beer list. My manicotti was really yummy! Service friendly and prompt. Our caesar salads were a nice addition to our entrees. Order of baby back ribs were very tender. Chicken cordon blue a plus also. Sadly no room for dessert:( He he not right away anyway...... Would go back for sure!

Have eaten here dozens of times. A wonderful, airy, energetic restaurant with a tiny kitchen but an ability to put out fabulous salads, sandwiches, soups (the tomato soup is exceptional), pizzas, as well as seafoods, pastas, and main courses. Open for dinner, but lunches are the highpoint of my day. Particularly good are the pizza/salad combo; the chicken parmesan focaccia... More
