We celebrated a birthday and the Sangria got things off to a wonderful start! The tapas menu is fantastic and the portions on each item are good. The skewered beef was so tasty and tender. The salads were generous. I would love to go back and taste everything on the menu. Our group was sizable, 18, and they gave us... More

After hearing great reviews from friends, my family and I wanted to try this restaurant again. I love their family style service and they used to have the best steak in town. The servers were unattentive and forgetful. Must of us ordered steak and seafood. The steaks were loaded with fat and grisel. The prawns were overcooked and rubbery. This... More

We enjoy several meals a year here because the steaks are cooked to perfection. The bar drinks are a little pricey compared to other places in town, but the meals are wonderful.

Coming from Bakersfield which has numerous basque restaurants , I was hoping to find a restaurant to fill that void. This restaurant did not even come close. Food was bland and luke warm at best. The only bright side was the ribeye steak which was actually very good. I guess my search for good basque food in the north state... More

This restaurant has a very loyal following and has been around for decades. The dinner menu is heavy on meats, if that's what you're looking to eat. I prefer a more diverse menu, so I tried their tapas, which were delicious!

Yesterday was my birthday and of all the places we could have gone for dinner nearby, we chose Basque Norte. We anticipated a great dinner and that is exactly what we got. The service was attentive, and the food was tasty. One of us had the porterhouse steak and the other had the ribs. The steak was, of course, marinated... More

After years of visiting Chico, I finally had the opportunity to eat here. The food was absolutely incredible. We started off with some sangria, which was delicious. I have been to several Spanish restaurants in the SoCal area, and the sangria is just as good, if not better. As for the food, we only had the tapas. The lengua la... More

This restaurant has been a family favorite for over 30 years. My Italian grandfather-in-law loved the food as it reminded him of home. The marinade is one of the keys to the oh-so-awesome steaks. The lamb and halibut and chicken piccatta are also top on the list for our family. We love the family style sides -the tomato garlic soup,... More

We celebrated a Birthday dinner with several friends this evening. All ordered a different dinner from Halibut, shrimp, lamb, filet steak and chicken all were "Outstanding" This is the place to come for dinner or for drinks and Tapas. The Tapas menu is loaded with excellent choices. They also have a Take Out menu that includes BBQ Baby Back ribs... More
