The food here is just great. The only problem is that everyone knows it so there is usually a line. But the service is very good and the wait is not usually too bad. I love the Eggs Lulu which is served with Fruit. The Rosemary Potatoes are great but the wait staff looks askance it you if you ask... More

We've eaten breakfast here about 4-5 times over the past year or so, and several of us have come to the conclusion that SoC just isn't very good. It seems to be very popular because it's very popular, but, sadly, this emperor has no clothes. Here's the basis for our decision: COFFEE really has very little flavor. During our last... More

I went with 9 other people over the holidays. They seated us pretty quick- surprise. This is not your fast food American Breakfast selections. I had Pesto Scrambled Eggs - to die for Had a taste of the hearty Beef influenced with rosemary hash- WOW Normally I don't go for someone trying to make exotic breakfasts. They seemed to hit... More

I'm not sure how to describe this restaurant. I like there rosemary fried potatoes, but they have rosemary toast and strange, maybe Bohemian food. Love their coffee Think I will stick to the drive through, and just get coffee.

We'd read the rave reviews about this place, so we decided to try it. It was close to our hotel and a convenient place to stop for breakfast on our way out of town. The atmosphere seems more like a coffee house with prepared meals as an afterthought. The service was very good. Our waiter was cheerful and attentive, and... More

Hubby and I both wished we were staying in Chico longer so we could try some of the other delights on the menu. I had berry pancakes that were lite fluffy and moist without anything being added. Hubby had spinach eggs with fruit substituted for potatoes and avacado on the side. Both were excellent and we plan to return one... More

Excellent omelets and French toast. They also serve good coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. This is a popular restaurant, so sometimes there is a wait.

Stumbled across this treasure the morning after seeing Tribal Baroque performance in Chico. Beyond interesting offerings of beverages and food alongside known standards. Exceptional coffee and Mexican cocoa. Vegan-friendly breakfast and lunch dishes that were delicious. Features fresh, local and high quality ingredients. You get what you pay for here! Excellent food in good portions: don't balk at prices ($7-$15... More
