Looking from the outside the Banshee, looks a bit careworn and you could be mistaken for think it may be just another dive bar. Far from it, when you go inside the decor is a bit rustic, but the staff (and customers) were very friendly and the staff efficient. There is a superb selection of beers to sample while waiting... The food was fantastic, could only stop in for a bit but enjoyed every second of it. Went in with a couple of friends and we were treated as if we'd been there a hundred times before.

Fish Taco at Banchee is one of my favorite foods in Chico. Creamy dressing with kick of spice highlight the fish taco. Draft beer selections are awesome.

Our group of four ate lunch here on Saturday. Cool local's bar, good food, nice beer selection too. We had a Tuna Melt, Burger, and two Pastrami Bombs. The burger was pretty red in the center, so be warned. My wife needs to order her burgers "well done" but always forgets. The tuna melt was good. The Pastrami Bomb was... More

Our son-in-law took us here on a Sunday afternoon, was a great place to eat, drink and watch football. Bloody Mary was good and afforably priced. We had the fish tacos, yummmy, though next time I might try their Mac & Cheese it look wonderful. We had a fun time and met friendly people.

We've been coming here for years and I don't think we've ever had a bad experience. The drinks are strong and reasonably priced, staff is genial and on the ball, and the food is delish. A great cross-section of folks end up here. I've seen people bring in their kids in the afternoons/early evenings, (I've also had someone sit beside... More

My wife and her friends love this place. The drinks are strong and the food is good, can't ask for more on a night out.

The Banshee in Chico, CA has the best pub food you will ever eat. Try the homemade mac&cheese or the baja fish tacos. The place can get busy and seating is limited, but well worth it.

We ordered Buffalo wings, Fish tacos and the Mac N Cheese with ham. All three were were the BOMB! One would think the bowl for the mac n cheese was small, but my husband couldn't finish it. The fish was not greasy, which is a huge plus for me since I have stomach issues. The buffalo wings didn't need the... More

Went here with my daughter and her boyfriend. They eat here regularly. The place was crowded (with locals) and noisy - typical bar atmosphere. I ordered the fish tacos (which were the special of the day). Both of them ordered a burger. The food was good. The service was ok (but the place was crowded). The beer was cold. Nothing... More
