I was traveling to Chico and was told I had to go to Spice Creek for dinner. Little did I know it would be on my list of TOP restaurants in California, if not the country. From the moment I walked in, the smell from the kitchen was intoxicating. I was seated in the window of this little gem and... More

Spice Creek is our number 1 go-to restaurant whenever we're in Chico. Chef Rebecca continues to dazzle us with her amazing talent and creativity. The appetizers are to die for. The chili relleno is hands down the best I've ever had anywhere. The quality of her ingredients is always stellar. You can feel her passion with every delicious bite. This... More

One of our (very few) favorite places to eat out in Chico. The food and service are excellent. I give the chef 5 stars. It can get a little loud, but that's because everyone is enjoying themselves so much.

This delightful place continues to impress, after multiple visits. Talented chef, nice ambience, a local favorite. I have brought "big city" visitors who were clearly impressed with this Chico gem. FOODIES will not be disappointed.

We were invited here for dinner after having enjoyed the ambiance and shopping at the Thursday street market. The service was very good indeed as was the table that our large party of 10 were on. The chef is celebrated for her experience with blending spices. The starters were excellent. Especially the calamari and the steamers. Perhaps we ate too... More

My husband and I go here for every date night. We love it! We rarely ever order the same thing and almost always choose a special offered for the day. We've never been disappointed. The combinations are so unique but always turn out AMAZING!!

Everything was excellent. The service was spot on. Management, wait staff and the chef were very warm and welcoming. The food was divine. From the salmon potstickers for openers to chocolate torte for dessert we were not disappointed in one thing. I highly recommend this great restaurant.

If you have an adventurous pallet and favor rich sauces and eclectic dishes, there is no comparison in Chico to Spice Creek Cafe. The owner is very actively involved in the meal prep and takes a lot of pride of ownership. The wine selection is fair and its great to mix things up a bit compared to the standard faire... More

Great service, excellent food (try the ribeye if your doctor isn't watching), generous servings. The atmosphere was warm and, although lively, not uncomfortably loud. We'll certainly return.

Well this place is hard to stuff into a category. However I will say this. It is for adults more than college kids IMO. The noise level was high but the atmosphere was good and the feeling was on the comfortable / romantic side. The food was great but as I said, hard to categorize. For intense, our appetizer was...
