Not all are created equal

We had eaten at a Pizza Factory before in another town and thought it was surprisingly good. This time around we were less than thrilled. Filling ingredients in our calzone weren't even properly warm and salad bar was sad. I assume they remain in business because choices in town are limited.

Pizzas to go, with tables. Very basic. Pizza we had was hot, thin base as ordered and quite tasty. Wine and beer available. Little attempt to provide creature comforts and one wall was lined with games machines.

The pizza dough tasted like the restaurant had run out of yeast, but still made pizza without it. The spaghetti was overcooked and reminded me of a can of Spaghetti-o's. The antipasti could have been average, if the restaurant had left it at that. Drowning the salad under a mound of cheese does not make it better. And a nice... More

We pulled in about 10 minutes before they closed but they were gracious enough. They even made us fresh salads even though the salad bar was already closed. Pizza was decent. I had pasta that tasted good but nothing to write home about.

Once again...there is not much to choose from in the area. This has a fun atmosphere and the pizza is filling. The veggie option is a little bland, but the meat pizzas were very tasty. The service was a little slow, considering we were the only people there. Allow at least 20-30 minutes to get your pizza

It was OK. It's a bit run down. We ordered veggie pizza which was below average. On the bright side it was loaded with toppings, but they did not blend at all and the raw tomato slices were added to the pizza after it was baked. The service was OK.

I finally found the owner to ask about my allergy issues and he was extremely helpful and said that they use only olive oil, so that would not be an issue. I have since enjoyed pasta, pizza an salads here several times and have been very happy. This isn't the "artichoke hearts and shrimp on cracker thin sourdough crust with... More

We had traveled a long way, hiked nearby and were tired and hot. We found reviews of Pizza Factory on TA and were swayed by what we read. We were not disappointed. This is a down to earth, friendly clean and happy restaurant. What you get is great pizza, not greasy and an atmosphere that makes you feel like the... More

While visiting family in Herlong, we had one night when we were too tired to prepare dinner, so we decided to order pizzas from here. One of the pizzas was customized, and we had a lot of toppings on that order. At $2.50 per topping, the person on the phone said they would give us a deal that saved us... More

What a great wee gem in the middle of nowhere, CA! Went in with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised at the whole experience! Great staff who were up for a laugh, quick service and delicious pizza! Wasn't too packed, but the atmosphere was fun and we all really enjoyed our meal there. If I'm ever in that part of... More
