Had a great lunch here with family. Be prepared to wait for a table, as the place is small and very popular. (Place your order at the counter while someone else hunts down a table. We actually had to stalk a family that was getting ready to leave.) I enjoyed the fish taco and the onion rings were spectacular. Very... More

We chose Duckie's because of the cute decor--it made the restaurant look promising. This is an order-at-the-counter-type-restaurant with limited service. Unfortunately, the folks that helped us weren't friendly or particularly well-informed about food or options to help us out. Here are some tips: --When they say "chowder" they mean clam chowder though none of their signs say that. When I... More

This place is the perfect spot for lunch. Just in front of the pier of this suggestive town. The offer is more oriented to fish but is also presented the meat. Great soup. Sandwiches or prawns coctail. Low price considering the food quality!

It is conveniently located near the pier. Very popular, particularly with families. We tried hambergers and clam chowder. Food is good but not great.

Delicious chowder, fast service, take out or sit in a few outdoor seats. Also serve sandwiches, but we only had the clam chowder since it had been recommended.

Walk up order service, with lots of indoor seating. Basic tasting clam chowder. Good fish and chips-not greasy. Nice to walk on the wharf afterwards, since it's on it.

This is a great fish shop. A good selection of goods available. Meals size as compared to price is good. We ate there several times and were never disappointed.

Breaded fish and chips vs. battered but the fish tasted fresh when we had ours and the tartar sauce was good. Nothing exceptional but still solid not greasy at all.

We can't say enough about Duckies, by far the best casual restaurant in Cayucos, and the ONLY casual dining that's open after 6 PM on a weekday. Everything else in town is grossly overpriced and not family friendly, or closes at 6PM. We ate almost all our meals here, and it was great. Fantastic seafood, and the best chowder ever.... More
