Great place to have a beer

Great local flavor, close to the beach and shopping.  Fun place to have a beer in the sun, hang out at the counter, enjoy some wonderful chowder with friends.  A little busy at times.  Great garlic fries, fast service, and food.

Nothing fancy here but the place was clean, service and food were good too. Very generous portions for a decent price.

Best clam chowder bread bowl in town. Walk up window outside is our travel secret, take your food up to the tables at the Memorial building for a great view while you eat.

Something has changed at Duckie's and we were not impressed this visit. We ordered the fish and chips which were outstanding when we visited in July of 2014. This time the fish was not crispy, it had the flavor but just not the crispness of the batter we loved. The fries also tasted different. Was it the cook? We're not... More

Very disappointing! We wanted to sit outside, as it was a beautiful day, but there didn't appear to be any help so we went inside and there was woman at the register. We told her that we wanted to eat outside and she told us that we would have to order inside and it would be brought to us. OK,... More

Very clean, well maintained, quaint with excellent clam chowder and other choices. Seemed to be very popular, even with the locals.

Good chowder and everything fish! Reminds us of "Splash" in Pismo Beach. Kinda in the central beach area of town. Totally convenient

Basic fried seafood mostly. Clam chowder was good. Both types. Really fast and casual. My wife really liked the steamer clams.
