Italian Food....Interesting atmosphere

Went with a friend to have dinner. We ordered a starter - kalamata olives & shaved parmesan. Imagine our surprise when the dish that was set before us was 90% cheese with 6 (count em) 6 kalamata olives. We were cracking up. We split a pasta dish with vodka sauce, but there was no taste of vodka... read more

I had appetizers and drinks with friends. Nice atmosphere, they had a man singing and playing guitar. The service was a little odd, they seemed awkward and not particularly welcoming and it took a long time to get served. But the food was good and many of my friends are regulars here.

We tried this place out because it was one of the top ten in the area on Trip Advisor. Of course I trust Trip Advisor, they have great reviewers. Anyway I can see why this was in the top ten. The food and service were second to none. I ordered the Beef and Peppers with Penne Pasta and the pasta... More

Upscale Italian Country atmosphere with well portioned unique dishes. Think of it as Italian farms and fishing village all in one presenting simple and freshest foods. Wonderful service, clean facilities, and patio dining in the desert winters (high season). There were six of us and all very delighted with wines, appetizers, entrees and delicious deserts. Pricing for cocktails, wines, dinner... More

This is about my second or third time I had dinner at this restaurant. Each time I always find the food excellent. This time I found it passed the excellent state. Server JD was very good, made a recommendation of the Filet Mignon with a reduced cognac sauce it was so good I wanted to lick the plate, the side... More

We really enjoyed the environment and the live music. The food was good with large portions. I had the pescatore risotto. The risotto had good flavor but was a little thick for my liking. Of the three restaurants we visited on this trip, it was my least favorite, however all the restaurants we picked were highly rated by this site.

The food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. We sat in the bar area because there was entertainment. Wine was expensive and the pasta is no bargain. I guess I had higher expectations. The patio was closed because it was cool that evening. I may need to give it a second chance but would choose the dining room.... More

Trilussa is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area. They have a varied menu and the food has always been very good. Being Italian myself my ratings are usually based on how good the Italian sauce is and whether the pasta is al dente.and I have to say Trilussa's is excellent. This time I tried the Eggplant Parmesan... More

Bartender is amicable and helpful, service is great, drinks are superb and food is also delicious. Happy hour everyday from 4-7 pm. Live duo music everyday other than Tuesday and Wednesday. The movie theatre is right next door, the Mary Pickford Theatre. A nice night for all!!

We were VERY pleased with our dinner at Trilussa. They had a pretty wide range of dished and everything our part py of six ordered was excellent. And they're very accommodating for guests with dietary restrictions.
