We visited Tootie's and the service was good. The order was a little mixed up but they fixed it quickly. The price was good and the food was preety good too. We had a sample of several items to see what we liked and everything was tasty. More

Purchased a coupon from Desert Deals and looking forward to a great BQ after reading the reviews. Easy to find, cute and clean. Good service and then we got the food. The baby backs were served differently than any I have had before,(each rib seperate instead of a rack) the texture was different (as though it was microwaved), the BQ... More

My wife and I visited Tooties this past weekend. The restaurant itself was located in a semi-industrial business park -- a really odd setting. But we found it easily by following the GPS directions. We were there in the late afternoon. The service was warm and friendly. It felt like we were in a local neighborhood hangout. The offering was... More

Tooties is one of those places we love. Come as you are, a nice clean place and really good food. My husband and I split a two meat combo with chicken and brisket and two sides. The white meat chicken was moist and the brisket had a nice pink smoke ring. Really good. The Mac and cheese was some of... More

Outstanding barbrcue, with a large menu and very friendly staff. Although it's definitely off the beaten path, it's also definitely worth seeking out! More

Gave Tooties a try on our recent visit to Palm Springs and we weren't disappointed. We had the pulled pork, spare ribs, brisket and baby back ribs and all were tender and flavourful. The owner kindly provided us with a sample of two sausages made in house - a spicy cajun one as well as a chicken sausage - and... More

We just left Desert Springs last weekend, and were excited about trying Tooties Texas BBQ before we left. Being from Chicago, and having tasted many fine ribs over the years, I was hoping for a pleasent surprise. The owner seems to be a great guy who obviously loves talking food as we conversed for about 15 minutes. I had ordered... More

Larry Babitz the owner treated us like family. The barbeque is wonderfull, but the sides even better. Try the creamed corn, and Cowboy beans - highly recommended. Also test all the souses - home made. First intended to just do "to go", but the friendly reception and chatting made us eat in, and wanted to stay even longer. Do not... More

I've been to a few BBQ restaurants in the desert area (Palm Springs, Desert Hot springs, Cathedral City, Palm Desert) the food was fantastic! The baby back ribs were great (they were baby back ribs for sure) and the other food was great! The owner came out talked to us and gave us free beef jerky (which was also great)!... More

After reading DesertRat's review, we hesitated a bit to order the baby backs. But they were the meatiest, tenderest, most well-cut ribs we've ever had--and yes, they were baby backs. I consider myself a bit of a "foodie" and the cut to all the meats (we also had brisket and chicken) was, as I told the owner a couple of... More
