We hit Palm Springs airport late evening on a Saturday night. Needing food before hitting the condo we stopped at Don and Sweet Sues on Ramone near Date Palm. My wife had a taco salad in a shell bowl that they baked themselves. Very good hardly salad. I ate some of her bowl and it was delicious almost like a... More

We had breakfast here 3 times and it never disappointed. Great meal at good price. Was surprised to see smokers next to our table.

The food was good but nothing to go out of the way for. The service was fine. We first went here for breakfast and the pancakes were good, we came back for the Cabbage Rolls as they were listed online by another reviewer. They were twice as high as the previous reviewer and were really nothing special. I had the... More

Don & Sweet Sue's cafe is well know for breakfasts. They have an exceptionally detailed list of options. However they also have lunch meals as well. We went here for lunch recently. The service is informal and not rushed. The food was fresh and portions were generous. The wine is generic by tolerable. Worth a stop for the experience if... More

Nice restaurant and food was good. I had a hot turkey sandwich and it was lukewarm. Had the kitchen take it back and nuke it and it then was fine. Prices were reasonable. Food was slow coming out of the kitchen for some reason. They didn't seem that busy. Can't remember what my husband ordered but know my son had... More

Very good food in a nice comfortable setting. I love it when you are eating someplace and the wait staff know the customers; it tells me that they are a place that people keep coming back to. We found this place as a recommendation from other reviewers. It is a short distance from the city of Palm Springs and is... More

We happened on this place by accident on our way to our hotel after a long flight. We sat outside on the patio and received fast and efficient service. Our waitress was great at giving us suggestions; the wife and I both took the chicken salad at her advice. The meal arrived at lightning speed which we were happy about... More

These guys have gone to great lengths to create a uniquely warm homelike atmosphere with a menu as long as my arm. Making our choices was hard, but we settled on the potato bacon soup, chick-fried steak and beef tips on bowtie pasta amongst our group of 3. Not disappointed! Delicious meals, and great service by Pam.

We wanted a nice homecooked meal, and this place seemed perfect. Our hostess was super friendly and chatty, the menu offered anything you could possibly be craving, and the prices were definitely reasonable. I ordered the daily soup and sandwich special and chose the clam chowder. Ugh. It was so garlicky that I could not finish it. And if it... More
