We go to the Palm Springs area once a year and one of our favorite things is trying the different restaurants in the area. Many of the good ones are very pricy, but we found one that has good prices and great food. There is nothing fancy here, just great comfort food. When we want to make sure we get... More

Cute little local spot. Lots of items to choose from on the menu. Breakfast served all day which is nice. Decent prices. We had the fish and chips, blueberry pancakes, egg salad sandwich and it was all tasty. Nothing fancy or great, but good. Exceptionally nice waitress and staff.

Not as good as we thought....quaint, cute...almost like stepping back into the 50's type restaurant..booths are comfy....food choices okay, priced high for a local family restaurant we thought. Not too impressed with the dinner menu; however okay for breakfast and lunch.

We went in and had dinner my hamburger was very good. Before we ordered my husband showed the waitress the 10% savings card. She said you have the 10% savings card. She wrote on our ticket 10%. Then charged us full price. She offered to give my husband a 10% saving card my husband said I already have one. She... More

I have watched this restaurant expand over the years. It is certainly a land mark, must go to in the desert. They have absolutely something to please every palate. From biscuits and gravy to lox eggs and onions. White bread to Bagles. Everything is meticulously prepared. Like grandma hours. Coffee is great and all cold beverages are at least 30. Oz.... More

Good food and great service in a cute country setting. Lots of locals here every time we come who add to the ambience. Good variety in breakfast menu.

On the way home from a few days in Palm Springs today myself and a friend stopped at Don and Sweet Sue's for an early lunch. I ordered a turkey reuben with coleslaw and my friend a steak sandwich. I thought my sandwich was one of the best turkey reubens I ever had. The turkey was moist and delicious set... More

Went for dinner 5/17/14 and was completely disappointed. Their food can be pricy; our bill for 2 was $41.00 less tip. The place was deserted when we arrived at around 6:30 on a Saturday evening, which seemed odd, even off-season. We ordered a $5.50 carrot cake to go and when we got it home it was so tasteless I wondered... More

A genuinel local spot. We were here for breakfast. The minute we walked in we knew we were in the place where locals go and locals are greeted by name. What a pleasant experience! Some folks didn't need to order. The waitress just knew who the customer was and what was desired. Breakfast is good. Breakfast is simple, not fancy.... More
