Lots of sunshine at this cafe

I have been going to the Sunshine Cafe for each time we go down and stay the weekend in the area. It's small so you must be patient, the service is friendly and welcoming whether your a regular or first time customer. Parking is also challenging and may need to park across the street but it's... read more

I haven't eaten here for dinner yet, but the breakfasts are awesome! One of the best values in the area. Definitely worth a stop.

In Palm Springs for a week and at the recommendation of an employee at our resort we had breakfast at the Sunshine Café. What a nice restaurant for breakfast! Many regular customers and a staff that was friendly and responsive to customer needs. I had the Carne Asada that was the special of the day. The wife had an omelet... More

Bit better once inside. Looks like it could go either way. Prices surprising. Breakfst ten to fifteen dollars that is before coffee taxes and tip. Priced as one would expect it to be a very good high quality as their prices are higher than most any breakfast, at our favorite five stars. Added pleasure tinny loud cheap radio radio noise,... I used to eat here quite often, price went up and in Social Security it is difficult to eat there often. $20 for a meal and drink plus tip is too much

Staying at Welk Resort Desert Oasis for 3 nights for the Indian Wells tennis tournament. This restaurant is less than a mile from the resort. Standard breakfast fare. Good coffee with plenty of refills. We both had the veggie omelette. Had hash browns, home fries and toast. Lots of food for $10 each. Service was quick and someone refilled coffee... More

after a long plane trip this was a perfect first stop before heading for David and Bob's beautiful home. The pancakes were fabulous and so was the coffee. The weather was perfect for sitting outside. Definitely go back.

Seriously, best omelette ever! We were in Rancho Mirage for the weekend and were lucky enough to choose the Sunshine Cafe for breakfast on a rainy Sunday morning. It was jam packed, always a good sign. After a lengthy wait, we were let thru the kitchen to a seating area in the back of this tight little restaurant that makes... More

We went for brunch on Sunday and there was a lineup, so we went back on Monday instead. My husband had a patty melt and I had huevos rancheros. I'll be torn next time because I had a bite of his patty melt, which is also a favourite of mine. Delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly. The ranchero sauce was... More
