Been to George's a few times and they really do have the best burgers in town! Though the place is small and sometimes hard to find a seat, if u plan it right (go before noon or after 2) you should be ok. Just whatever you do...NO KETCHUP on your burger or you will get kicked out!!! Last, be prepared... More

Entertainment provided free by master of the grill. Crabby with a smile. Order fries to be able to get ketchup. A small bar and grill with a big personality.

Have been goin to George's for a few years. Great burger. I order a double cheeseburger with grilled onions. This burger needs nothing else on it. Heaven. Good chili too. Service is fast and friendly, and George is a bit crusty in a nice way.

Went for the first time with some friends. Heard about the long wait for fabulous burgers. Turned out it was an unconscionably long wait for an average burger and fries. The burger is nothing to write home about. It was perfectly fine. It was your typical corner burger joint burger. But was it worth waiting over and hour from the... More

If you want it your way, go to burger king. The chef is the owner and knows how to grill a mean mouthwatering slice of heavin. The burger needs no condements because it is made with all the right flavours. To drown it in ketchup would be blastfemus to this Devine all beef patty. Gab a nice cold beer, flip... More

Not sure who the cook thinks he is, but if you put ketchup on your burger, you will be ridiculed like crazy. The burger may be good, but I like to eat my food how I want to without being told what to not put on it. Didn't like the shoestring french fries. Could have been a great place, but... More

SIt down and enjoy the best hamburger in the desert,. Ed (George's son) grills your order right in front of you and does it old school style. The chili is fresh and homemade , , ,try some on your burger. Cold beer is priced right and the fries are perfect. Don't give the staff any lip though, or you'll regret... More

Stepping into George's Bar & Grill is like walking into one of the old neighborhood taverns in my hometown of Chicago. The difference is, at least when you're a "newbie", you'll immediately get insulted by the proprietor, chef, and chief "insult hurler", Ed. This pony-tailed, biker dude grills some of the best burgers in town...... and loves to tease new... More

Although this restaurant is technically in Cathedral City, it is an easy drive on Ramon from Palm Springs. I am surprised there are not more reviews about this little place. It seems to be a best kept secret and frequented by the locals, a lot of retired folks who seemed to know the owners well. We were given this tip... More
