Situated in a mini mall just of Gerald Ford this little gem is a great place to eat. It is only open for breakfast and lunch but it has something for everybody. The food is consistently good as is the service. It is very popular and can get a bit crowded over the noon hour but the atmosphere and the... More

The food was good and reasonably priced. Service was a bit slow but they were pretty busy. I loved all of the Marilyn Monroe memorabilia too.

Stopped for lunch with friends. I had the pancakes - warned they were big and I could not finish two! They were delicious. My companions all had the Friday special - Fish and Chips with a starter of Clam Chowder and reviews were great. The place was full and no wonder - good food, good value and pleasant and efficient... Very friendly staff at this not-really-cafe/kinda-diner. It offers a large menu of Classic diner food which came in big portions. My French dip had a HUGE amount of meat, yet was really bland. My daughter's tuna melt had tuna oozing out the bread but its taste too was typical diner - big, OK tasting and filling. The Philly cheese steak... More

No wonder this place had a wait. If you like Marylin Monroe you will love this place. They have a good basic breakfast items and lunch items were also available for breakfast

Found this using our phone heading back to Palm Springs after visiting Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage. Located in a non-descript strip mall, it was busy with locals. Diner style food in a kitschy atmosphere. Attentive service and a varied menu. Large portions.

Tucked away in a local strip mall, and set back off of busy Date Palm Drive, is a Marilyn Monroe museum disguised as a friendly neighborhood restaurant! Michael's Cafe is a cozy Cathedral City eatery that only serves breakfast and lunch, and most days it's bustling with locals enjoying their enormous omelets while watching Marilyn's dress fly up in the... Food is okay, but the enthusiasm of the service staff makes up for it. Decor is all about Marilyn so you should be prepared....

Michael's Cafe is a hidden gem in the Coachella Valley. It's a small restaurant with tons of Marylin Monroe decor and Elvis too. The portions are big and I've never had a bad meal there. The service is great. They service breakfast and lunch, and would recommend both. Once you've been to Michael's Cafe, you will have to return to... More

Based on the reviews, we were somewhat disappointed. Two of us had breakfast -- pancakes passable, eggs OK, bacon reheated (barely) - not fresh cooked. One had chinese chicken salad, which was fine. Ice tea was extremely weak. Overall, not special by any means based on our visit. We might go back if in the area but not likely to... More
