My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. The seafood is excellent. I usually get the Sand dabs. They have other meat items on the menu, but I've always ordered the fish. Another favorite is the Lobster Cocktail with chunks of lobster and a tangy cocktail sauce. They also have a salad with tomatoes,... More

This was a first time dining experience at this little hidden jewel in Cathedral City. Our dinners were all very well prepared and we will be sure to return!

We had dinner with friends who suggested Oceans. It was new to all of us. We were surprised we couldn't preview the menu on-line,but it wasn't available. Our friends had heard it was reasonable, and had great seafood. The staff was very friendly, but the Appetizers and salads arrived after we asked about them after waiting over half an hour after... Arrived and greeted, seated and attentive service. As evening went on service became much less attentive and almost non-existent. Fish was great but vegetables were cold when served. Had high hopes when we started but probably won't return after the entire meal was taken in context.

We visited this restaurant the evening of Feb 15. Service was OK but not great. I had Paella, my wife had boulabaise. Both were very unevenly cooked with my clams and chicken very overcooked and the rice component mushy and rather tasteless. I got no hint of saffron at all. If they can't afford saffron, they should at least use... More

This is a nice place with decent seafood. We will not think about going next time, unless Roy's in Rancho Mirage is booked, which is which is 10 stars, seafood is AMAZING!!! The server/owners at Oceans are quite brash and not refined, The seafood is good, not great. This is our third time and still the same brash server. We... More

We have found this restaurant to be consistently good on each of our visits over the past 10 years. The seafood is fresh and delicious, the menu offers something for everyone, and the service is outstanding. It is our favorite restaurant in the valley.

We always look forward to a nice evening at Oceans. You really can't go wrong with whatever you order. We recommend, where to start....Calamari appetizer, royal salad, Chilean sea bass(mine has never been full of bones, if any a couple, another person writing a review said), blacken catfish, salmon, sand-dabs, fish specials always good. We haven't tried beef or lamb... More
