Previously I had commented on La Tablita Mexican Restaurant in Cathedral City, and had been quite disappointed. So...I waited a number of years before returning, and I did so as friends began telling me that it was really good. Since then my friends and I have gone a number of times, and I must say, what a pleasant surprise from... More

We have been coming here for many years. It is the best Mexican food in the Coachella Valley! The location and decor are not impressive but the food is great. Try the camarons al mojo de ajo (garlic shrimp) - the garlic is like eating candy. The enchiladas suizas are another favorite, stuffed with chicken and topped with a tasty... More

While I spend 15 dollars for an entry somewhere else, I only spend about $10 here! I get great service, I love how they keep watch on your drinks and refill them without you asking for it. And most of your non alcoholic beverages get free refills! I like the tortas and the arrieros, quesadilla for appetizer is well served... More

Stopped by La Tablita restaurant for a late lunch on the day Mexico was playing Brazil during the World Cup. The gathered crowd was loudly cheering for the Mexico team and the place was very noisy. We arrived as the game was almost over (Mexico and Brazil were scoreless for the match) and the crowd drifted out and the noise... More

Located in a small strip mall, this place is fairly easy to find. It shares a store front with a sushi restaurant. Good old fashioned Mexican food the way you'd expect it to be. Not fancy but very tasty and a decent value for the money. Servers are friendly and food comes fairly quickly. I had the chili Colorado with... More

Good old mexican food at a reasonable price. This resturant is very close to where I live. It is also the most inexpensive too. All the basic Mexican favorites, with out any modern twists. Happy Hour Margaritas prices too. If you are a Modern Yuppy, go some where else....

OK food. Haven't been there for a while. Have to check it out again; was not pleased with taste at the time. Guess I expected 'more' of that Mexican taste that I'm used to.

I went here with a friend on a weeknight and the place was packed. That was a good sign. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good - which was what I wanted (not some pseudo-gourmet Mexican food for 2-3 times the price). All in all, I would go back again!
