Best Mexican food in desert. Don't be discouraged by appearance. An old house coverted into a cozy restaurant. Cash Only.
Good Mexican for Palm Springs. Have not yet found a place we like better - but will still be looking. Prices were not low, but reasonable. Service is good and very friendly. The little house is a great venue and the location is easy to park at. If you go much later than 6PM, you will have to wait for a... More
We ate on Friday night with another couple. The service was very good and the food was good. They only accept cash. They do have an ATM machine inside the restaurant. Not 100% sure about the menu but I did not recall seeing any seafood or pork on the menu. Seemed not in tradition with most Mexican Restaurants. They were... More
Yesterday afternoon my wife at here for the second time and this time we brought our son with us. It was one of the best meals we have ever had in a Mexican restaurant. We last ate here about a year ago after being recommended by a tour guide and both times it was excellent. Our son also liked it... More
Very old school Mexican food trying to live on its past! In a area filled with good Mexican food there should not be a reason to stop here! Staff were very friendly and apparently by verbiage used on the menu-this restaurant has been frequented by cheap people sharing plates and eating baskets of chips and salsa! This is defiantly our... My food was a lil cold when it came out but I didnt send back because it took awhile to come out and I was hungry. You might wait a lil bit but fun and... More
Not a lot of ambience, but the food is excellent. Very small restaurant and booth seating could use an upgrade, but overall if you are looking for great authentic Mexican food, this is the place.
Favorite place to eat in the valley. It is cash only - no margarita, fajitas - but - food and service are great. Well worth any wait - sometimes in season it can be substantial but quick turnover helps as it is small.
