Fresh & Tasty Thai

Castro Valley doesn't have a lot of great restaurants. It's a fast food mecca. If you're looking for something that's healthy and gives you a more exotic option, Lime Leaf Thai is the place. It's small but has a nice sunny atmosphere. There's even a couple of outdoor patio tables although your... read more

We have enjoyed better Thai food at other places in Castro Valley. The Tom Kha soup was too sweet for my taste, no lemongrass but a lot of coconut milk. Other dishes had a lot of red onions in them. One of our party ordered a simple salad and didn't finish it. Nothing specific - just not that great.

I really enjoy Lime Leaf for when my non-Thai eating hubby is out of town and I want just to sit quietly and dine on fresh flavors in a small home town restaurant. It sits right on the parking lot, but so do the other restaurants in our little Castro Valley Village Shopping Center. The staff is very friendly and... More

We eat here frequently and love the fun atmosphere. Basil Chicken for my husband every time. He loves it. I enjoy the Fried Rice with chicken and the Pad Thai in particular. Good service and everything tastes fresh.

Flavor... yes that is what you will find in this nice little cozy place. Plenty of options for the vegitarian as well.

This was my first experience with Thai food several years ago, so I had nothing to compare it to, but now that I have, I've found it's STILL one of the best, and I like the fact that it is VERY clean and nearby. Friendly staff is always more than happy to answer questions about the food and make recommendations.

Good food, but Top Thai just down the Boulevard is just as good, and has much more reasonably prices.
