Great Burritos

They have really, really good breakfast burritos that cost about $2.50 a piece. I've also had their tamales and they were equally as delicious. I've never tried their pastries but I hear that are also quite good.

The best, fresh baked, pastries and Mexican bread. Ask what is just fresh baked, take it to-go and walk down Linden St to the beach and enjoy

Stopped here on the way through from Santa Barbara. Superb! A smallish place that does much more business for breakfast and lunch, we actually had dinner here. Tamales were flavorful, enchiladas were great. But if you are thinking of a nice sit down place, this is not for you. This is a very good, family run business. A few tables... More

Like many of the other family-owned establishments in Carpinteria are still in business after all these years, Reynaldo's Bakery is the 'Grandaddy' of the Mexican restaurant/bakeries in town! A classic 'Panadaria' - with baked goods as well as lunchtime favorites like enchiladas, burritos, sandwiches, etc. Reynaldo's is THE place for customized birthday/special occasion cakes in Carp! (The 'Trois Leches' filled... More

Mexican bakery/coffee shop with all the traditional pastries and cookies plus counter service restaurant for typical Baja-style breakfast and lunch plates. Two fish tacos plate for $5 is best price/value ratio on Linden.

Every Spring Break we camp at Carpinteria State Beach and we visit Reynaldo's at least 3 times while we are in town. Best tamales, carnitas and breakfast burritos! Oh my! Chorizo, egg, potato. The best. Don't hesitate visiting this restaurant. Solid, Mexican food, reasonably priced. Always a highlight of our trip.

This is a must do on your breakfast list while in the area. We always get the Special or Custom Burritos and have not been disappointed however, come there Hungry! It is a Bakery as well and even if your are not buying all the Sweets, it's nice to see & smell all the Fresh Goods. It is a small... More

Walked by this little place and couldn't resist getting a cookie. The next day we went back for more serious baked goods.... WOW! So fresh and yummy! I noticed all the locals getting their breakfast there and I was jealous that I had already eaten! Try this place ... you won't regret it!

It's a bakery and a kitchen. They make everything in advance, and if you want a hot meal, they warm it up in a microwave. A lot of folks buy enchiladas, quesadillas, tamales, to take out and eat at home. Also tortas, pies, cakes, doughnuts and all that. I had breakfast there — a very tasty warmed-up tamale: It could... We've taken these tamales home a few times, and they were GREAT!!! But they are the 100% perfect train food!! Warmed at Reynaldo's, grab a fork and napkins, and you're ready to go!!!
