We decided to try Cabo's after a day at the beach. The girl at the front counter was very friendly. I ordered the 2 pc chicken platter, my husband had "some kind of fajita stuff". (his words, not mine) He said it was OK. My chicken consisted of a drumstick and a thigh. There was not even enough meat for... More

I stopped at 1 pm on a Tues for something quick. there were only two tables eating, but it was taco Tues @ $1.49 each. I ordered one carne asada and one chicken taco. They are served on small corn tortillas and there was enough meat & filling for both. The salsa choices were good and it was a nice... More

You buy at the counter, and they bring your food to you. Service was quick. Food was tasty. I had the best tacos I've ever had. They were the tri-tip on flour tortillas. The large Cabo salad in a tortilla shell was also a hit! Additionally they had corn dogs and chicken fingers that the kids enjoyed. There's a bar... More

Cabo's is a busy restaurant for good reason. It's not fancy, lots of outdoor seating, good wine and beer and the food is really good. We totally enjoyed it. The loaded nachos are a meal by itself. I had the roast chicken and it was tasty and tender but not spicy. Can't go wrong.

This is my first visit to Carpenteria but we stumbled on this place while walking around town. Very good fish tacos. We had the grilled Mahi Mahi and it was tasty, although I will admit that I prefer Wahoo's recipe which has the blackened fish. That said, you couldn't beat the weather and the atmosphere was relaxing. Will definitely add... More

I have been Coming to this place when it was Chuey's then when John and Val bought it and it became Cabo's. It has outdoor seating and used to be very happening. New owner last year prices way up. Patio empty on Saturday afternoon. NO carp wings or tri tip chilli Have to decide if the great patio seating will... More

I've been to Cabo's several times. I usually get their chicken street tacos. The chicken is cooked very good, and the ingredients are fresh. They have a great outside patio where you can people watch as everyone goes by on Carpinteria Avenue. They also have a variety of fresh salsa's - all of which are very good (again fresh) and... More

I had the Cabo Burrito and it was really good. My wife had the tri tip burrito. Both of the burritos were a really good size, I would recommend either one.

I ordered the shrimp tacos platter. I was surprised there were no free nachos and salsa as we waited for our meal. The meal arrived with just average tacos, cold beans that had no cheese melted on them, and just okay rice. I actually grabbed some food from my bike bag to supplement this meal since I had bicycled in... More
