Wonderful breakfast

Owner Rick and his son (Rick) have developed a great restaurant with wonderful service and terrific tasting food. Bottom line Upfront: Average breakfast diner. Pros: A few outdoor tables. Above average service. Cons: Not all menu items are able to be ordered outside. Recommend: Jalapeño Bacon was nice addition to average omelette.

First proper day in the states and we had to visit this cafe for a late breakfast. Wasn't disappointed. Coffee and service was instant. Warm, friendly staff in a homely typical American sort of way. Great food. Fresh and so tasty. Will be returning several times.

Walked in on a whim and enjoyed the best breakfast and company, we hated to leave. As soon as we stepped in the door it felt like a time warp. It was cheery and bright and so clean it would pass my gram's white glove test. The place looked like it came out of a Rockwell painting, but through a... More

The owner, Rick, and his team work hard to serve a nice breakfast to their customers. Every morning you will find a lot of regulars at the counter, and many of the locals in town walk or ride their bikes to the Worker Bee Cafe. They have quite a few gluten-free items, and I appreciate that they bring in farm-fresh... More

Enjoyed the most delicious breakfast here yesterday. My guy and I both ordered the Farmers Benedict per one of the recommendations of our great server who ALSO happened to be the father of the chef! He advised us to "try everything" before we added any salt/pepper/ketchup to change the way the chef intended; a proud father clearly. And boy, was... More

Best corned beef hash I have ever tasted! Whole potatoes, and huge chunks of corned beef!! And apparently they prep it for a couple of days....!

I like to think I'm an expert on Corned Beef hash, but the Worker Bee Cafe has it nailed. Not shredded, but juicy chunks. If you are in a hurry, you are in the wrong town. Nothing in Carp. is hurried, but isn't that the reason why you came in the first place? Get a window seat and watch the... More
