Everything was wonderful

We stopped for a late lunch on a Saturday. We were immediately sitted and chips and salsa bought to the table. I ordered a bloody mary and it was delicious. The chips were warm and not oily. The salsa had no kick so they bought me two others that were spicy but also very tasty. I ordered the... read more

I would not call this 100% authentic Mexican food but what I would consider it would be more like Mexican comfort food. Hungover? Get a Menudo! Starving at lunch? Get any of their lunch combos (#6 is my favorite). Need to blow off steam? This is the only place in Carpinteria with Dos Equis Amber on tap!! In all seriousness... More

But the service was slow. Love the decor. Ranchero burrito was delicious and filling. Good prices, too, for a beach town. Went here on the recommendation of a family member and was not disappointed. Would visit again the next time I'm in Carpinteria.

Great value for the price. The Resturant was busy as it was the day afer Thanksgiving but the service was great. The food was very good. We really enjoyed our evening!

We go here quite a bit but sometimes service is awfully slow - particularly weekend days. Sad, as it hurts the experience and the inconsistency makes me hot and cold with the restaurant.

We love Delgado's. It's a family-friendly place that we frequent a couple times a month. It's a local favorite. The food is what you might find at any typical Mexican food place. We like to sit at a booth that is right beside open doors to the patio. Their guacamole is so fresh, really delicious. Margaritas are fantastic. I love... More

this place is the best mexican food anywhere in the area, if not all of southern california. last night i had a pork burrito and loved it. great chips, great salsa, and a pitcher of margaritas was excellent too. try to get there a little early and sit outside, since it gets a little stuffy inside. you can bet that... Nothing horrible but nothing great to report, either. Chile Verde and the $14 margarita were pretty good. Shredded chicken in both the flauta and the tacos was really bland tough to eat. Guacamole appetizer tasted like a couple over-ripe avocados were thrown in a bowl and mashed up. We had to try to kick some flavor into it by using... More

Friends of ours picked this restaurant to eat at and I looked at the reviews saying the service was not great, but the food was good to average. I have to say that the service was terrible. We had to track down a server to get a drink menu. When the server and busy boy arrived, the server was irritated... More

We were from out of town and truly felt it. The waitress never returned after serving our food while the locals were waited on hand and foot. No refills had to ask for chips and salsa and pretty much hunt her down for the check. Very disappointed.
