I have heard about this local burger joint for years, it even get's a 5 start rating on Yelp Went for Lunch on a Tuesday at 1:30pm. Waited in a moderate line - mostly locals. Ordered a cheese burger- everything on it, with small fries and a small pepsi $8.80 (my friend ordered the onion rings and a chocolate milkshake).... More

Located 1 block from the city beach in Carpinteria. The best chili cheese fries ever! You can sit outside and eat, a mini walk up burger joint.

We are staying in Carpinteria (from Wisconsin) in a condo right near the beach, and our local friends recommended that we try The Spot for lunch. Our kids (ages 8 and 9) have food allergies (dairy-egg-nut), which sometimes makes it a challenge to eat out, especially at small food stands like this one. Luckily for us, it was not a... More

We vacation in Carp every summer at least once. We live about 2 hours away give or take on traffic. My plan is always to leave early enough to hit the spot for lunch. It is must do every year. My fave is their regular cheesburger and chocolate shake. So yummy! One year we featured the Spot in our Christmas... More

The Spot is a great place to go to grab a quick bit! The burgers are fantastic and one of my favorite places to go to when in Carp. The location is great as it is on the way to the beach. Not very expensive and great place to go when having a beach day.

Nothing extraordinary here, just good decent burgers and fries. Considering the length of the line we got our food quicker than I thought we would.

We love going to the spot for burgers and onion rings. Feels like a step back into the past, with its wood deck and umbrellas. Also a short walk to the beach for a picnic. Feels like summertime!

I don't even know if its the same owners, but, the Spot has been there a very long time, like many of the places in Carp. It just makes you feel the world is in place. Its nice to see no big changes, just good food and a place you can count on.

Ordered a cheeseburger and it was one of the best ones I've ever had. I didn't have to tell them what to put on it because it came with everything. The lettuce was crispy, onions crunchy, pickles good, tomato fresh. The meat and the sauce delicious. I would recommend it to anyone.
