Great burgers. Cash only!

A great burger place for when you're strolling down Linden Avenue towards the beach. The food is fresh and the service efficient. Both outdoor and indoor seating. My family and I always stop here for a double cheeseburger and fries whenever we're in town. Just remember one important tip; have cash... read more

Stopped here for a burger while camping at Carpinteria state beach. The burger was excellent, on par with The Habit and In-N-Out. Really delicious ripe red tomatoes. My toddler mowed through the fries too. Husband liked his burrito.

Not bad at all. It's fast food and it's really good. I know some people think these are the best burgers, I personally like to eat my burgers rare, which you cannot do here, but when i get a craving for this place, there are no other substitutes!

For those of you that don't know Carp - 'The Spot' has been THE place for burgers, fries, fish & chips, and shakes - forever! Located just next to the train depot, across from Linden Field - everyone from long-time local residents to summer campers make this place their 'go-to' burger joint! Two blocks from 'The World's Safest Beach'!

Orders 2 tacos and ended up with food poisoning. After my family has been going here for years, I will never go back.

Ok, I have never trashed a review, but this will not be a positive one. This place has an amazing reputation over the years, for being one of the best burger joints around, yet, this have not been our experience ! There are often loooonnnggg lines down the block just to buy a burger …really !! We live here.. and... More

Remember to bring cash. The line is usually long, so don't be in a hurry. But they make good burgers and onion rings, and they also make a good breakfast burrito.

Like it all-outside sitting, good food, friendly service. There is also indoor sitting. Very long lines at meals time.

A great little place to eat close to the beach. The food is decent and the atmosphere is something you need to experience at least once. There are lots of tables inside and out and most have umbrellas to shield you from the sun. We ordered two burgers, one order of fries and two shakes...it was $20.The fries are nothing... More

Burgers are good but nothing you couldn't get at in n out or other places. It is a novelty that they are so close to the beach and just have a little shack. Beware cash only and no receipts.
