Good pizza

There are two main camps in the pizza arena, Rusty's and Giovanni's. Most often we end up with Giovanni's. It's tasty, usually quite quick and about the same price as Rusty's but we feel you get better quality cheese and we find the sauce a little tastier, although both places are good.

This by far is the worst pizza ever. Doughy bread not cooked well. Way too much cheese and the crust doesn't hold up. Not too mention the staff does not use plastic gloves to fill your bowls of salad. Did I mention the tables are dirty. Enjoy your meal

Good food, nothing fancy. The portions are large, so beware of over ordering!! We loved the Cesar salad! Good family place, but also makes it loud if you are solo, are looking for a quiet spot.

Only 2 bocks from hotel and recommended by hotel staff. Ordered cheese/garlic bread; meat lovers pizza; white chicken pizza; vegetarian pizza; and a sausage & cheese pizza. Picked it up and brought back to room. Found their menu on line as well as a $2.00 off coupon which I told them about upon ordering and they honored. All their 7"... More

We enjoyed an early Sunday night dinner of specialty sandwiches and a garden salad at Giovanni's. We were so surprised at how tasty our dinner was and decided to try it again soon for their pizza. The place is casual, nothing fancy but spacious and no reservations needed. The friendly group of men behind the counter were an added treat.

It wasn't the best pizza but certainly not the worst we've even had. The sausage was greasy and salty, should've gotten olive or mushroom... The small salad was good but beware of a ton of white onion on it, if you don't like onion be sure and let them know. The local beer was good, but would have been better... More

Went with a big group. I was told the pizza was "okay." I had lasagna which was good, but they put too much sauce on it. If ordering the lasagna I'd suggest you ask for just a little sauce with some on the side. The outside patio was pleasant but pretty dirty (meaning, they obviously don't mop the patio floor... More

Crust is thick, undercooked, and doughy. Cheese tastes worse than dominos and the sauce is very bland. Even the pepperonis tasted cheap. I haven't eaten at the rest of the pizza joints in Carp, but they won't have to be very good to be better than Giovanni's.

I have been eating here for over 20 years. The pizza is really good. Not the best you will have in your life and pretty greasy but really good. Their family salad is SOOOOOO good. In part due to the house made dressings. The ranch is to die for and the Italian is so flavorful. Mixing them is perfect. We... More
