Very warm and inviting place to dine. We had the fresh Salmon, baked (crispy skin) potato, fresh carrots. You get soup, salad, entree, and pie for dessert. Peach pie was a little crusty and not enough fruit, still good though. They have been open 33 years.

My 94 year old aunt took my wife and I there on a recent visit. We had been there a couple times through the years. DELIGHTFU! We had the halibut while auntie had the liver. Portions of each were plentiful. Each dinner comes with a piece of homemade pie. It is family owned and staff have been there for years.... More

I went to this restaurant with my mother and sister-in-law. I fell in love with this place right when I walked in. It was like eating in someone's personal home and the lights were dimmed ever so slightly for ambiance. We were seated in a matter of minutes. The place was pretty full, but not overwhelming and was pretty easy... More

This is a no frills restaurant but lovely with it. It feels like you are sitting in someone's home and you are treated like a special guest. The filet mignon the best steak I'd had in ages and the home made pie, included in the price was delicious. A great find. We would definitely recommend it.

We looked on Trip Advisor for our last night in America to have dinner. We are staying at Carpinteria on our way to LA tomorrow. We decided to try Clementines due to the reviews and try a true genuine American dinner which we haven't really had in the time we have been here. We'll this place is the true American... More

Homemade and delicious, you will not leave hungry or without a take-out bag. Genuine, friendly staff who take great care in making you feel welcome. Enjoy the pie.

I've lived in Carpinteria for a couple of years and finally made my way to Clementine's. The reviews I read on TA helped make this experience fantastic. This is a beach town so don't expect high-end décor. What you do get is sweet and charming servers and when you read "it feels like being at grandma's house" that sums it... More

Great fresh REAL homemade American style! You can count on their dinners being prepared the same top quality every time! Saturday nite get there early to ask to carve an end piece of their Superb Prime Rib. Fresh plump Halibut, homemade tartar and home made fried chicken(I ask for a little extra salt) so Crispy! Delicious! the NY steak is... More

Wow! Is about all I can say about Clementine's. This family-owned/operated restaurant operates out of a converted house in Carpinteria, CA. I've heard people rave about this place, so we had to try it ourselves. OK, a purple building with pink and red interior might be a bit outlandish. But, so is their food. Everything on the menu is deliciously... More

It is unfair to rate the food as we never got a chance to order. We arrived and we were seated in a fairly empty restaurant. Several parties came in after us, were seated, had drink orders taken and only the bus person came to our table. Finally we asked about a server and were told that ours was making... More
