Exited Hwy1 northbound at Carpenteria a tad hungry...jumped on Tripadvisor and headed to Padaro Grill. Everything reviews say it is (especially NanarooGrampyFred). Awesome food--he liked the shrimp tacos, I liked the California burger and sweet potato fries--, an outdoor dining area to die for (although I'm glad we weren't there when a train went by). Signs warn of tenacious birds,... More

The food is good, location is better. with a large outdoor eating area that is setup for small children, it is a good place to bring your family.

The food is good but one of the best things to recommend it is the outside dining. There is space for youngsters to play.

I had the Hickory burger with sweet potato fries. Yummy stuff. The patio area has picnic tables with umbrellas. Occasionally the train passes by right next to the beach. Awesome. They have plenty of kid activities while you await your food.

Found this place via Yelp when looking for a good place to eat after spending the day in Santa Barbara. My mom had been set on Stacky's in Summerland, but I found Padaro Beach Grill and changed her mind. Good move on my part as we've been home from vacation for five months and she still keeps talking about it!... More

We LOVE the Padaro Beach Grill! There are enough choices for everyone to order what they want. Reasonable prices considering they're adjacent to the beach. A huge, well landscaped garden with tables & umbrellas.. ..Nice big play area including a tremendous sand area for the kids to push around their toys. It's magical at night with the small, clear lights strung... More

We have been eating at the Padaro Beach Grill since it first opened. We moved out of state and stopped by for lunch on a recent visit. The food and service are still excellent. The large outdoor dining garden is picturesque and family friendly. The beach is a perfect spot to walk off the delicious burgers and fries. Remember to... More

Good overall. Decent for the area and good value. Bathrooms clean considering how busy the place is. Service at counter was very fast. Overall would return. Had fish tacos, burgers and fries. All was fresh, salsa delicious.

The menu has something (delicious) for everyone. The fish tacos are my fave and they come both fried and grilled. They have a wonderful selection of LOCAL beers and wines. This is one of my all-time favorite spots to go and catch the sunset and enjoy the stunning views. I have to add that the family-friendly atmosphere makes it a... More
