We went back a second time, the burgers and the salads were that good. There was band playing one time, there's a sandpit where all the kids play, there are quiet corners if you want that, it was great to sit outside, near the beach though not quite on it. Even the passing trains were fun.

If you're looking for a quiet, romantic dinner or a subdued business lunch, this is not the place for you. But, if you want a casual good meal in a fun and festive atmosphere, look no further. The view is unbeatable. Try to get the raised seating area (adults only) for an even better view. Palms everywhere, with tiki torches... More

We had lunch here with some friends. The food (burgers and salads) was tasty and a great play area for the kids. We were sitting outside, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and the Surf-liner train passed just nearby a couple of times with howling horns. A unique atmosphere. We'll definitively go there again next time we're in the Carpinteria area.

You order your food and then go out to their picnic/beach area to eat it. We chose a table on the raised platform so we could watch the ocean as we ate. I had the Baja style fish tacos and they were prepared perfectly. I hope to return next trip up the coast as I really enjoyed sitting there watching... More

I stumbled upon this walk in to order grill. Food looked good. I ordered a beer, and then was given a buzzer for the food order. I walked out to the dining area, and what a surprise!!! A lovely lawn with tables, a sand box/play area for kids, and a large fire pit area above the lawn. I chose to... More

Passed this numerous times over the years and since it was 12:30 we decided to stop in. Pros: Building and grounds were clean and well maintained; the food (Grilled fish tacos, ahi sandwich, sweet potato fries and wine) all was well prepared and nice portions; the use of pagers to tell you when your order was ready for pick up... I had my very own 21st birthday dinner here. We invited friends, family, more friends of my family etc and it was great place to be able to invite a large amount of people, not have to pick a restaurant for everyone to agree on and to make a head count for the seats and tables. People showed up, grabbed... More

My LD and I stopped here for lunch on our way up to Santa Barbara. Easy off and on the 101. We ordered and then sat outside in their lovely grass area which had tables with umbrellas. The grounds were very clean and spacious with a play area for kids. My LD had the chicken sandwich with fries which was... More

A place I had wanted to go to see what all the "fuss" was about and finally made it there in mid-March2014,, with 3 girlfriends. It was everything we wanted......right on the beach, great patio, well prepared food and outstand service, even though they were extremely busy.

I am a big fan on many levels: love the area with one of the nicest clean and quiet beaches, enjoy the relaxed ambience. It's well-managed, and offers an extensive sandwich/salad /sides selection, tasty, and consistently prepared- albeit, pricier than average. This is a place that I love to recommend to friends. Great for all ages. There is a sand... More
