Great burgers, great Manhattans (but they charge extra to serve them up!), nice take on Mexican staples, great chile, excellent prime rib dinner Thursday only.

The food was good although their clam chowder separately needs help. Their staff was running ragged to keep up with business. They did a good job. Salads were great. Fish tacos were enormous. This restaurant is a price performer!

The food is decent and plentiful. The service could be better. Once we got our food the waitress disappeared. We were the only ones in the place so not sure what was keeping her so busy. She never came back to offer to refill our drinks, to ask if everything was good or if we needed anything. After she came... More

We hadn't been to "The Iron" as we locals call it for a while. The calamari appetizer was good. The kids were happy with their tuna melt and chicken strips. My shrimp Cobb salad was huge! I couldn't finish it and it could have easily fed two. Other favorites there are the burgers and the fish sandwich. The service was... More

I enjoyed the ambience and the service. The soup and my wife's meal were both super. However, the steak in my steak sandwich was fatty and not terribly juicy.

Great yummy blue cheese burgers! Funky inside but a must stop if your going to go to the village. Has a seating inside and out. Separate bar area. Gets kinda loud. Atmosphere is casual.

We stayed right off Hwy 1, so it was worth the 12 mile drive to the restaurant for the food. The fish and chips was very good and the appetizer portion was very big, plenty for a dinner meal! Very relaxed atmosphere and the price was right. Also, we loved the bread pudding for dessert.

The servers were very friendly and the atmosphere with tons of cowboy boots hanging from the ceiling was very unique. The food was well-prepared and delicious.

This place is good for some cheaper grub like burgers than the trendy bistros that surround the area. It isn't cheap, but a better alternative but the atmosphere is pub/bar type with locals mostly. It is across from a string of wine tasting rooms. It got dark quick and the other places were not cheap so we scarfed down some... More

A long way from Monterey. Seemed like we would never get there. The food was nothing special. If you are in Monterey skip it and go elsewhere.
