Great and good value

A great American Bar that is a combination between a saloon and a restaurant. Good food, good service, good beer and wine and all for good prices. Try the artichoke, its the best we've had so far!

I had the green chilli breakfast plate. Very tasty, and not horribly priced for the location. The spicy bloody marys are very black-pepper spicy.

I saw this place across the street from 6 wine tasting rooms. Obviously, I needed a bite to eat. It was just what this wine taster needed.....a good beer and bar food. Had a Guinness and a turkey melt on grilled sourdough bread. Yummmmmmm! Life is good! Waitress was very nice. Let's go!

We have been customers here for the past 25 years. The place has not changed, nor has the clientele, and that is a huge relief after all the changes in the Carmel Valley restaurant world over the past decade in particular. Try the sweet potato fries! Absolutely the best. Delectable burgers and steaks. Service is casual and the waitress should... More

The Running Iron is very local, food delicious and the service couldn't be beat. It is in the middle of the village which is perfect if you wish to wander around a bit.

The old lady bartender doesn't admitt latinos , we were polite and all we wanted was have some drinks and she turned us away saying she had the right to refuse service , we asked why she said " just because is my right " she said it in a bad language

Fun place with local cowboy atmosphere, sports bar with fireplace and juke box with Johhny Cash tunes, food reasonably priced, good burgers but the rest of menu not the best quality.

Excellent bar, bartender makes perfect cocktails. Mexican food topnotch, secret recipes. Burgers are the best. So are sandwiches. Hate to reveal that they have the best prime rib deal around on Thursday night (Certified Angus). Low prices, good pu food, lunch or dinner.

Stopped here for a beer and a needed restroom break in my travels. I can say that I was made to feel at home at the bar by a pair of locals. Sat down and they immediately struck up a conversation on where I'm from, where I'm going and what my story is. They did reciprocate in the conversation about... More
