Great food

Very nice tables, attentive staff. I got the chef's special, which had all kinds of different seafoods in it. Everything was perfectly cooked, but the sauce was a little watery. After explaining to staff and the chef, they brought out a free cheesecake, which was also very good. The wine, of... read more

Had a lovely lunch on Mother's day with hubby and son. Our door seating was lovely and the service was amicable. Food was delicious. We had french onion soup, very flavorful, steak and frites, the steak was good, though undercooked to our order, son still ate it and enjoyed with the fantastic french fries. Salmon Caesar salad was also quite... More

We were the only diners on Monday night, and we got the royal treatment. The food was delicious, and the staff was delightful. We will go back!

Food is excellent, environment nice and quiet. It's a place we go to with friends when we want a leisurely dining experience and the opportunity to catch up and talk. Service is friendly. Not super fast, but that's why we love it. Interesting dishes, well prepared. Owners are from Peru, and are very good.

On a recent day trip up to Monterey, my husband and I found ourselves looking for a place to have lunch and chill out before our drive home. Our usual stop would be to walk around the gorgeous town of Carmel, or the Monterey downtown. But then we remembered that we had driven through Carmel Valley once inadvertently and said... More

Went here for lunch on the perfect day in Carmel Valley- sunny and warm- to enjoy patio dining. We were immediately seated. It was about five minutes until our waiter could get to us, but he acknowledged us soon after seating. Wine and water were promptly delivered. We both started with the cream of roasted vegetable soup- excellent! Delicate flavor,... More

I love this place!! Our group of six ate there over the 4th of July weekend. I ordered the Tomato Sandwich with tomatoes, basil, butter lettuce. cucumber, avocado, mozzarella, olive oil, capers & pesto aioli on wheat bread. It was heavenly. All the ingredients were first class and superb!! Everyone at our table enjoyed their dishes. They were closing as... More

The owner -chef will probably talk with you during your meal. He has put his heart into his restaurant. The steak, fish, chicken entrees are all done very nicely. Very reasonable wine list. Atmosphere is Mediteranean adobe. Nothing fancy; I'd like to see some native S. American items added to the menu, or as specials, since he comes from there.

Stopped for Saturday Brunch. The staff was courteous and the food was good. Just what I wanted. They have many tables outdoors and lots of signs that proclaim "Pet Friendly" but I didn't see any cats. Since I had my dog, I did not venture inside. Their business card describes the food as "California Cuisine with a French Flair". and... More
