We went last Friday as a party of 6. With the exception of the artichoke appetizer, which was very good, everything else was plain and lacking in flavor. Several different entrees were ordered (Seafood Pasta Special, Duck, Veal, and Chicken Piccata), and each was just barely ok. To top things off, the service was appallingly slow. One example was it... More

This restaurant isn't anything fancy. It has good, tender steaks, local fish, chicken, and vegetarian options. The prices are very reasonable. The wine list doesn't over-charge like some restaurants in their category. In fact, they have a deal with local winery Cima Collina, a wine club I belong to, that waives corkage fees with those wines. VB also does wine... More

We came in for Sunday brunch and were pleasantly surprised. I had the eggs benedict and yes they were fantastic! My husband had the french toast and it was the perfect mix of soft and crunchy. They were a little under staffed for a Sunday Brunch but in reality, taking our time to enjoy the outdoors wasn't a big deal... More

We went for lunch to Vineyard Bistro (6 Pilot Rd., Carmel Valley, CA 93924, tel. 831-659-5020, web: www.vineyard-bistro.net). Our server, John, was good. He reminded Audre of Matthew Broderick for some reason. He was good and gave us advice on other restaurants in the Monterey area to try. We had one special of the day: sand dabs served grill and... Breakfast was very good, outdoor patio was lovely and the ambiance was nice. The service was a little slow, but I didn't mind as I had all morning to enjoy the surroundings.

This is our favorite restaurant in Carmel Valley. We did not have a booking on a busy night, but the manager went out of his way to accommodate us. The serves was excellent and the food delicious.

This restaurant was recommended to us so we gave it a shot. We had the Lamb chops, spinach salad, shrimp bisque and garlic/blue cheese fries and everything was excellent. The waiter was super friendly and attentive and the food was excellent!

Vineyard Bistro is our favorite place in the village. Indoors or out the choice is yours unless they are very busy. The food is wonderful and they will adjust for allergies, etc. I had the beet salad, which is one of my favorites, and asked them to add a piece of salmon to it. It was a nice size piece... More

My husband and I enjoyed both the beautiful patio and delicious meal. This is a family run business, so expect a leisurely pace of service, we never felt rushed. We chose the calamari appetizer to start, super fresh with yummy dipping sauce. Caesar salad and spinach salads are quite large, so splitting one is best. The fish options were found... More
