We come a few times per year and have never been disappointed. (Frankly, I am shocked by some of the recent negative reviews). My burger with Gorgonzola cheese was perfectly cooked rare. ($14 a very fair price). My mate said his BLT was exceptional. He loved the bread and especially the guacamole in it. The pear salad we split was... More

Overpriced with rude and slow service. We sat for a very long time before we were even acknowledged and against our better judgement, stayed and had lunch there. Slow, rude staff and everything was way overpriced. The only low light of our entire trip was our lunch there the first day we got to Carmel Valley.

We had lunch here as a large group (40pp) while touring the Carmel Valley Wine Region. From the outside, the restaurant doesn't look like much, but inside is lovely, with staff/service to match. The menu is fairly diverse, but I opted for the pizza fresh from the central pizza oven.

The rainbow trout served here is very delicious and so is the Cowgirl Red Wine. It is a romantic place for lunch and you can bring your doggy. Outdoor dining is our favorite but the indoor atmosphere is also very nice. The owner Georis is charming if you get to meet him. You only want to avoid eating there if... More

I had been there before, and had thought it was pretty good, but this time was sorely disappointed. Perhaps on the day we went, they were having staffing problems, or management problems, and I would probably have been willing to give them another chance, however, the attitude of the management put me off, so I don't think I will be... I will start by saying that I love this place. Last week I hosted a dinner party for 11 people to celebrate my wife's 50th. I was very excited to show off the restaurant to our out of town guests. Unfortunately they must have had a staffing problem. There was a calamity of errors. ... No menu's, no wine list,... More

The fresh baked bread at Corkscrew Cafe is worth the trip alone! The bread platter is our favorite! The menu is a little limiting but the outdoor courtyards are wonderful. Good wine list and yummy pizza. My husband loves the burger, large, juicy and flavorful!

This cafe takes you to a European-style experience. Nice wine list, superb bread selection baked on site. Good service. Pizzas half-off from 5-6PM M-F.

This bistro has fun decor and some interesting menu choices. The onion rings and the shishito peppers were excellent. The pulled pork with slaw on a fresh brioche, made it go from good to great. The BLT got too creative for my liking, adding guacamole with 9 grain toast...There was too much going on. Fellow diners enjoyed the burger. One... More

Throughly enjoyed lunch here. You walk in and are immediately greeted by the wood burning pizza oven. How can you not have one. Salads were tasty, Pear, and the pizza, Fig, mouthwatering. Service very good. Your receipt gives you a splash of wine at two tasting bars in the village. Perfect!
