Nice Visit While in Carmel Valley

We were sent here by one of the wineries as several other places were closed on Monday. They have a nice outside courtyard and it was a very pleasant meal. They have good bread and sandwiches and I would recommend their onion rings as well. The price was very affordable. A definite low key... read more

Wood-fired Oven Pizza was very ordinary and the crust was undercooked. Excellent pear salad. Too noisy and the overwhelmed waiter ignored us once served. Second visit and won't go back.

Nice bistro-style place with charming ambience. Actually quitebig but with so many small rooms thay it remains cosy. Inventive cooking, even pizzas are not run-of-the-mill. Linked to next-door winery with good choice of quality wine. We'll be back.

Had an amazing pizza and great glass of wine. Doesn`t get much better than that. The staff are great and are very accommodating. All of our meals were fantastic and I`d go back immediately if I could.

Ask to sit outside in the patio -- lovely location under a grape arbor. Twinkling lights all around. Their home-made pizza is some of the best in the County...and not expensive. Nice entree selections too. A complete wine list with mostly local wines. A very pleasant experience all around.

We have been here twice and more visits are anticipated soon. The food is outstanding, the service pleasing and gracious, the atmosphere eclectic and the music sublime. Everything was so "just right" it is as if the management and staff can read your mind and know just what you want, from the moment you walk in. This is an outstanding... More

We had driven by the Corkscrew Café outside of Carmel in Carmel Valley many times. The place always has many cars parked out front during lunch and dinner times – a good sign. So we made a last minute reservation, on a Saturday night. And we’re glad we did. Before we went we had checked out the menu online –... More

This was a great restaurant now focussed on one time visiting tourists. Service varies from rude to great food varies from sad to bad the bread is good the wine is expensive. Property and grounds are beautiful food not so much

Delicious friendly restaurant in wine country. We received the reccomendation from our Lodge Quail Run and what a good recommendation it was! My husband and me enjoyed a truffle pizza and delicious warm pear salad. Lovely local wine choices and were told to show your receipt next door for some wine splash tastings. A winner all around

The 4 of us enjoyed a festive meal on a chilly December night at Corkscrew. Our waiter gave us such a terrific description of the entrees that we started to salivate. True to form, the dishes were as good as his descriptions. Short ribs, mussels, and crab cake were included in our meal along with delicious salads such as the pear... More
