Nice Visit While in Carmel Valley

We were sent here by one of the wineries as several other places were closed on Monday. They have a nice outside courtyard and it was a very pleasant meal. They have good bread and sandwiches and I would recommend their onion rings as well. The price was very affordable. A definite low key... read more

There is nothing to dislike. It is in Carmel Valley Ranch, easy to spot off road. Romantic charming outdoors dining with a sand/rock path. Makes you feel like the beach is right at your finger tips. Great indoors as well and a winery next store that you can go get some tastes and look at some fun chalkas.

If you are looking for excellent food, local ingredients and creative assemblies, pizzas are great, charcuterie is top quality, artisan bread is hard to get elsewhere.

The two places that were recommended by the bride-to-be were Corkscrew and Cafe Rustica, both of which we tried and each of which was tremendous. We had lunch at Corkscrew, sitting outside on their patio. They bake their own bread and it is delicious. Our waitress suggested the special soup of the day, a tomato basil and my wife and... More

We stumbled across this quaint restaurant by a recommendation of a wine steward from Bernardaus Winery! We made the short walk through Carmel Valley Village. We new we would be pleased from the incredible smell coming from around the bend of the road. The restaurant does not look like much from the outside, but the inside is super cool. As... More

Always enjoy the patio. Nice ambiance, pleasant clientele and friendly wait staff. They have a very good menu however I find the food inconsistent. i have ordered the fish tacos twice and did not recognize the presentation the second time I ordered. Also they charge for each cup of coffee. There are no refills. All they need to do is... More

Wood-fired Oven Pizza was very ordinary and the crust was undercooked. Excellent pear salad. Too noisy and the overwhelmed waiter ignored us once served. Second visit and won't go back.

Nice bistro-style place with charming ambience. Actually quitebig but with so many small rooms thay it remains cosy. Inventive cooking, even pizzas are not run-of-the-mill. Linked to next-door winery with good choice of quality wine. We'll be back.

Had an amazing pizza and great glass of wine. Doesn`t get much better than that. The staff are great and are very accommodating. All of our meals were fantastic and I`d go back immediately if I could.

Ask to sit outside in the patio -- lovely location under a grape arbor. Twinkling lights all around. Their home-made pizza is some of the best in the County...and not expensive. Nice entree selections too. A complete wine list with mostly local wines. A very pleasant experience all around.
