Good dinners

The food here is always good to very good. They have a daily special which allows for soup or salad,, main course and usually makes for an interesting choice. For a while, it was open for breakfast but, alas, that is no longer the case.

We have walked by this adorable little French Restaurant so many times saying we should come back and eat here…..and finally we did. Nestled in the back of a courtyard in the Crossroads Shopping Center on Highway 1 and Rio Road in Carmel, the chalkboard menu and welcoming read door draw you right inside. This place has been here forever... More

We found this little restaurant while waiting for seating at another one in the Crossroads Center. Great find. Very good food although a little pricey. Very quiet. Exceptional service with great attention to detail. One of the best dining experiences we have had in long time. Will definitely return on our next visit.

Pleasantly surprised, This intimate and cozy place is staffed by attentive personnel who are good at what they do. Your glass will never be empty and best thing your food is delicious and delivered quickly and just as you ordered. The bigger surprise is the outdoor seating and that they cater to the 4 legged guests both in their outdoor... More

We went to the cafe as it was 2pm and we were hungry. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and provided with drinks. Menu choices were fresh and well made! Nice atmosphere with outside dining available. Would definitely go back and recommend for choice, cost and service!

My husband and I go to Carmel every December. This is the second time we have had brunch at Bistro 211. Very good and very different brunch items.

After many years of countless visits to Carmel, we just discovered this delightful little place, a family-run bistro with a French touch but with a broader flair as well. An impressively diverse menu for a small establishment. Across Hwy 1 from the busy Carmel village, in a pleasant center of appealing shops, this low-key, yet very carefully designed place is... We were able to secure a reservation here after we could not get into another restaurant in downtown Carmel. The 211 Bistro is a charming bistro reminiscent of a French bistro. There was a beautiful mural painted on the wall. There were some lovely touches- fresh flowers, great bread with an herbed butter shaped in rosettes. We ordered regular tap... More

Located at the Crossroads shopping center, this is a cute restaurant. Came here with family for dinner. Food ok, I think it's a bit overpriced.

Judy and I went there for a late breakfast today, but it almost turned into a late lunch. We were seated about noon, ordered our food a half hour later, received it around 1:00 p.m., and asked for water 5 times before receiving it. It turned out that our waitperson had forgotten to enter our order in the computer...that, coupled... More
