We enjoyed the food, but didn't enjoy the noise level because of the kitchen in the middle of the restaurant and open floor plan. We felt a bit cramped at our table for two. Cash only. Everything in Carmel is pricey, so this was pretty much mid-stream for cost.

We had breakfast at the Wagon Wheel and were mightily impressed. There's a couple of outdoor tables and we had the good fortune to enjoy our meal with a view of Carmel Valley. My friend ordered poached eggs with hollandaise and I had a spinach, bacon, swiss omelet. We also tried one of Martha's famous oatmeal pancakes. We weren't particular... More

We had breakfast at this restaurant which is open for breakfast and lunch only. The menu was extensive and the food and service were good. The restaurant is heavily decorated with western memorabilia.

I go to this restaurant every year during the Big Sur marathon. I am a school bus driver and I love their chicken fried steak. their sausage gravy is off the chain. Always have leftovers for the next day.

Pretty tasty french toast. Went on the Sunday morning of fathers day, they were clearly busy but the service was still ok and the food was turned out quickly.

Low keyed breakfast. Levi was super sweet and made us feel at home! Got the pleasure of sitting outside and meeting some people who were from the area just out with their adorable dogs. Gotta love how friendly Cali is to all puppies!

This restaurant is a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. Great service, delicious food for breakfast. The oatmeal pancakes were excellent with the fresh, sweet berries. Good coffee, too.

Eggs, biscuits and gravy, Katie cakes (small pancakes) in a rustic, non-pretentious restaurant a few miles from Ocean Avenue. Went there the first day in Carmel, and returned the next 2 days of our trip! Highly recommended.
