Fantastic food

Great food, fast service and really nice staff. A real find and highly recommended. If I lived nearby I would go all the time!

Fluffy delicious omelette...fresh, generous and delicious. Love the ambience...like we stepped into a western film...staff just as friendly as you would expect of one. Take the kids...they'll love it! We stayed at the Quail Lodge next door and this was a convenient and welcome alternative to the continental breakfast provided there when we felt a little hungrier.

When we moved to the central coast from Texas, I worried I'd never find a decent greasy spoon diner again. So I was delighted to find Wagon Wheel. Decor is cowboy-centric in a non-cartoonish way that compliments the surrounding area (you pass by fields with horses on your way up from Highway 1). Breakfast is what you'd expect and hope... More

I ate here twice recently. The breakfasts are large. The ambiance is just as the pictures show. The owner was actually helping wait on tables the day I went. At least, I was told he was the owner. I was told by friends that other meals are equally as good. I liked sitting out on the patio one time. They... More

We really love to have breakfast on their tiny porch. The service is terrific, and their food is homey and very tasty. Everything we've tried has been great.

Very cute place -we sat at counter and were able to see these folks serving up some wonderful food with quickness! You can sit outside or choose the inside. Very friendly!

The food is SO good. The kids insisted we go there every morning for breakfast. Pancakes for them, eggs benedict for us. YUM. Well worth the trip.

Kind of a funny, cowboy vibe in this place. The food is tasty. Get the poached eggs with beans - delicious.

We were traveling from PA. We flew into San Fran and made our way down to San Diego. We were driving through Carmel and stumbled upon the Wagon Wheel. It is way more than a coffee shop! They had something on the menu for everyone! We loved the food and the decor! Would fly out to CA just to go... More

We eat here when we visit Carmel and it is a great place for breakfast. Locals hangout with greAt coffee. They only take cash so be prepared.
