O.k. completely our fault for turning a blind eye to the negative reviews about this place. Once we were seated we had a 15 minute wait before water was brought to our table upon our request. We were starving and waited another 15 before they brought bread to our table upon our request. The bread was dry, tasteless, and old,... More

this is a truly charming eatery. staff is knowledgeable and friendly. food takes advantage of local fish and produce in preparing enticing dishes. they bake their own bread every day. make a reservation, particularly on weekends.

Best Mushroom Bisque ever! Lamb chops over yellow lentils were exceptional also. My friends shared pizza which they liked too. Cute place, helpful waitstaff. Need reservations even on weekdays. Go for lunch or casual dinner.

This place is great. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My wife and I don't like fancy restaurants, but this place bridges the gap between local, funky, friendly, and fancier higher priced restaurants -- which are plentiful in Carmel. The food is all locally sourced. The meats are free-range....which is important to us. The bread and pastries are perfect. Spent a good... More

I went to this place because someone told me that the food was very good. Maybe I didn't wask the right plate, I saw some good food like italian "tapas", but I was looking for more italian plates and do not have pastas and the pizzas I eat were very poor... It's not italian, it seemed like they were from... More

We ate here for breakfast and it was delicious.. The granola was just divine and we were so impressed that we booked a table for the evening.. It was really busy and has a lovely french feel to it and the food was really lovely....

Casual atmosphere with upscale food. Unique combinations of flavors. The atmosphere almost felt like a french cafe, but the service was attentive and friendly (even the chef held conversations with us between courses). We started our meal with the burrata cheese with roasted garlic oil and ciabatta appetizer and it was fantastic. Then we split the butternut squash & speck... More

Loved it! Wasn't expecting it! The place looks amazing! It is the sweetest corner and the ambient is beautiful! I don't really loove pizza, but it was truly amazing! We also had the carrot & ginger soup, delicious! Service wasn't as amazing as the food, but it was ok. Coffee was really good and we didn't have it, but saw... More

Wood burning oven - baked eggs and french toast with fresh berries. As good as it gets. Lavazza italian coffee. The place is very busy but the service is friendly and the food is truly excellent. I'd never had baked eggs before and they were truly delicious and perfectly cooked. I sat near the kitchen so I could see the... More
