We came here without another couple during our wedding week activity. We'd heard great reviews about this place and we weren't disappointed. The food, wine, service were all excellent. As most Carmel restaurants the space is small, but very cozy. I don't recall what we ordered but it was all delicious. I'd definitely come back during my next visit to... More

We loved this restaurant when it was La Boheme; we love it as La Bicyclette! Fantastic steak, salmon, and cavatelli. Wonderful chocolate mousse--great service, beautiful space...hope to return some day soon!

During the three days we stayed in Carmel, we had breakfast every day at La Bicyclette and nowhere else because there was no need to . When you know that you will get great food, great service and the place is made to look like an old rustic cafe, why bother to take chances elsewhere? I wish we have a... More

The bean soup and the mussels seemed quite like times I have had them in France - though with a little different edge. It is a lovely, and relaxed place. I would say the wood fired pizzas are wonderful though not quite French!

Breakfast here was my wife's favorite meal of our 4 day trip to Carmel. The coffee is amazing. She loved the French toast and I was very pleased with my poached eggs. Great decor. I wish we went back for dinner and lunch

We stumbled up Le Bicyclette as we walked around Carmel. The decor, the menu and the host were warm and welcoming. Our servier was superb and charming and the good was delicious. My Pizza Champion with a truffle oil was a treat and I devoured all of it! My friend's meal of a beet salad and pork entree were gorgeous... More

We have always loved this little restaurant, and now that they have expanded next door, it is easier to get a table. Terrific soups and tasty salads, especially the duck confit salad with goat cheese. Side of bread is enough for several to share! Just lovely.

The feel of a bistro - rustic, wooden, relaxed atmosphere - enjoyed mushroom pizzas mid-afternoon - wood-fired pizza oven - attentive service and the only place on the Central Coast where I was hydrated by the time I left - they left us a bottle of water, after I requested it - many other restaurants on the Central Coast gave... Friendly service, great food, cheerful atmosphere. We were lucky to be seated almost right away, without a reservation, on a late weekday in November, although the restaurant was busy.

The coffee is wonderful and the eggs are cooked and served in cast iron pans right out of the wood fired oven. Very glad to have enjoyed this restaurant.
