Make my day

Best Italian style baked snapper/whole fish I ever had in California. The fish is freshly catching from nearby Carmel Bay. Yummy!

Great food and nice pace. I had some gnocci with rabiit, it was very tasty. The price is a little high, but it's worth it.

On our fourth night in Carmel we wanted to eat simply. We had passed Cantinetta Luca at lunch time and saw their pizzas. We decided salad/pizza/pasta shared was our choice for the evening. We did not have a reservation, however the host could not have been more gracious when we walked in to book and said we would be back... More

We spent $100 for a halibut entree, salad, and calimari pasta + 2 beers.Food wasonly average and small portions. What really was the defining moment...we asked for more bread and they said they had to charge us. Very poor customer service at that point. Won't go back.

We first found this restaurant when we asked at another establishment where to get good gelato! Delicious gelato!!! Had three scoops while sitting at the bar that very night! We immediately decided to make a dinner reservation for the following Friday. We love a nice bar atmosphere so this is exactly where we sat that night! The bartender was very... More

SInce my name is Luca, I was particularly curious about this restaurant. It was better than expected. We had the fettuccine bolognese and bucatini alla romana, two delicious dishes. Service was very good and considering we are not in Italy, these were the best pastas we have had in a long time. Strongly recommend it.

My husband had the bolognese and thought it was better than what he had in Italy. My daughter said the filet was the best steak she had ever eaten. The little gem and caprese salad were excellent as well. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. I have nothing negative to say about this place. We'll definitely return!!

Greeted and seated with a choice of a table or kitchen bar. Nice space/atmosphere with a bricky-modern look. I took kitchen as it's always nice to watch chef and staff working. Decide it would be a starter/appetizer meal-- Artesian salume: wonderful choice of 7 different meats, really good Caprese: standard and thus kinda disappointing. Meatballs: very tasty Bread and olive... More

I have been to this restaurant twice for dinner. Each time, I have not only been amazed by the quality of the food, but the level of service. The Porterhouse is arguably the best thing on the menu. In the past the restaurant served a dinner special which included a 20+ oz porterhouse with your choice of two sides that... More

This is a lovely little restaurant right downtown in Carmel. We had a delicious lunch there a few days ago. Our salad with multi-colored beets, walnuts, arugela and a light dressing was scrumptious and we both had the pasta with beef, pork & veal sauce which was we thoroughly enjoyed. Portion size was perfect and our waitress was very friendly.... More
