Love it

Wonderful service, food and atmosphere. Second time eating there and it was the same. I had the fresh fish of the day, whole cooked rock cod, wonderful and our friends had the pasta. Wine list is reasonable. If you are traveling alone, great options either in the bar or looking into the kitchen.

The food here is very good. Our waiter and the sommelier did a great job of helping make the meal memorable but the noise level is not conducive to talking amongst one another. We were a party of 10 and you couldn't hear from one end to the other, even in the back "quieter" room.the waiter had the kitchen make... More

I had visited with my friends and family last year and the food was not up to par with the reviews I had read. Very EXPENSIVE for what you get.

You can't miss finding something good at Luca. This trip I had lasagnette with boar sausage, sour cherry and black truffle sauce. I also got to taste the lamb shank done in a tasty tomato and olive sauce which was nicely seasoned. Staff is very good. Have been there each of our last 3 trips to Carmel. I''m sure we... More

If you are sick of the old standards in Carmel you should try Luca. An attractively decorated room with a very pleasant staff to make your meal memorable. The house cured Carpaccio $10 was a good value and loads of flavor. The fish special at $27 was a quality bass and a large portion. Their Lasagnette with boar meat is... More

Our waiter was attentive to wheat-allergic diner's restriction. Rucola salad was flavorful. Grilled Shrimp with spagna beans and Roasted Brussel Sprouts were perfectly prepared. Pasta was excellent, too. Atmosphere is better for dining with family or friends ... or even solo, rather than a romantic evening out. Book reservations in advance and ask for the back room.

My pasta dish was dry and tasteless. They offered another dish and deducted the bad dish so all was not lost! Limited menu and not nearly as good as last year.

This is a trendy restaurant with an experienced, professional staff and it was our second visit there with friends. We enjoyed all of our food selections, including the house made spaghetti main dish special of the night, which was exactly how you want pasta to be.The desserts are the traditional ones you see on many Italian menus, all very good,...
