If you are sick of the old standards in Carmel you should try Luca. An attractively decorated room with a very pleasant staff to make your meal memorable. The house cured Carpaccio $10 was a good value and loads of flavor. The fish special at $27 was a quality bass and a large portion. Their Lasagnette with boar meat is... More

Real Italian, I felt like I was in Tuscany. Excellent food, great service, Salumi platter, burrata & parpaddele bolognese was delicious, also great selection of wines by the glass

Our waiter was attentive to wheat-allergic diner's restriction. Rucola salad was flavorful. Grilled Shrimp with spagna beans and Roasted Brussel Sprouts were perfectly prepared. Pasta was excellent, too. Atmosphere is better for dining with family or friends ... or even solo, rather than a romantic evening out. Book reservations in advance and ask for the back room.

My pasta dish was dry and tasteless. They offered another dish and deducted the bad dish so all was not lost! Limited menu and not nearly as good as last year.

This is a trendy restaurant with an experienced, professional staff and it was our second visit there with friends. We enjoyed all of our food selections, including the house made spaghetti main dish special of the night, which was exactly how you want pasta to be.The desserts are the traditional ones you see on many Italian menus, all very good,... If a restaurant packs them in on a Wednesday night, that says a lot. It is because of the food, thoughtful and flavorful, that comfort feeling. Service is always exceptional, treating customers well, attentive and friendly. The value is excellent. Atmosphere warm and friendly. What else can you ask for, except another meal.

Everything was great from appetizers to dessert. After we received the appetizers, the waiter said "Put a little burrata on a crostini, then half a meatball and a little sauce." I could eat a whole plate of just that. Had pasta Bolognese which was incredible, so rich and meaty. Desserts were fabulous as well. Can't wait to go back, I... More

My husband and I found this restaurant about 5 years ago and enjoyed the food and ambiance back then. We were in Carmel this past weekend and could not recall the name of the restaurant but knew it was within walking distance of the Sunset Center and found it. We did not have reservations and were luckily seated for dinner.... More

The server made the biggest difference. The ambiance is amazing but the food missed the mark. Wine by the glass is limited, they really push purchasing a full bottle.

Our party of four ordered a variety of dishes then shared. Everything was very good. Nothing went to waste! We started with their Baratta cheese, yummy. Then went to white truffle pasta, tuscan steak with sides, and pumpkin gnocchi. Yum! The service was wonderful. A great time was had by all!
