We go to Carmel about 6 times/year and we ALWAYS eat at Little Swiss Cafe. Blintzes, Eggs Benedict, the best pea soup anywhere... If only there were more places like this

This place is genuine. You feel like you are part of the Carmel community, surrounded by locals. Breakfast was very good.

The restaurant was very nice. Since my mother is Swiss, thought she would enjoy it. Our food was good and the service was excellent. The portions were generous. enjoyed the family next to us. They were visiting their grandparents and had a 3 year old son. The murals looked beautiful, but since my mom was 100 years old, we didn't... More

It's been around forever. The food is good but the murals are great. Be sure to check out the tromp l'oeul of the Dutch countryside. We love the penguin hunting.

We had breakfast at the Little Swiss Cafe on three occasions during our recent trip to Carmel over the Labor Day weekend. Each morning, we got there and was seated almost immediately just before the crowds hit. This place is very popular and people will wait a very long time to have breakfast here. And it is worth the wait!... More

Only popped in for a coffee on the way to an event, but the staff was friendly and the coffee was good. The food looked very nice and the diners looked happy :-)

This is a small family owned place that has amazing home cooked food! 9 times out of 10 there's a wait but always worth it and it moves pretty quickly. Jose is especially nice and always has coffee in hand to refill for those mornings after to many wine rooms the night before! Oh and they serve wine too if... More

Awesome treasure! But you're wise to get up here early so you can request a booth in the rear of this artsy, quaint Foodie Fantasy Land! The murals in the back are worth the effort. The food is tasty and served up as ordered (crispy corned beef hash) by zippy servers who keep your coffee and tea filled up. Not... More
