Many people recommend me this place but it's only a famous place where people love to go. After 45 min wait for a table, I had just an average French toast and pancakes that are more similar to crepes. Taste was avarage. I still don't understand why it's so popular. And they recommend me right the pancakes!!! I don't know.... More

I had Croissants with a side of creamed spinach and filled them in hollandaise sauce it was heaven. Service like a new York diner and was attentive

Delightful small breakfast-and-lunch place in Carmel's downtown close to the beach. The staff are friendly and efficient. The interior is decorated in Swiss country style, and the wall art entertain you with their hidden whimsy. I ordered the cheese blintz and my companion, the bacon and eggs. Not over-priced, and a good way to start the day in Carmel.

This is a very small reasonably priced place in Carmel with delicious breakfasts (we weren't as taken with their lunches). I recommend their eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce (the hollandaise is also available as a side dish). Their hash browns and bacon are also very good. Try to get a table in the inside room with the beautiful murals of... More

Started eating here over 15 years ago and it's still my top choice in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Try the pancakes, my person favorite. They are unique and delicious! My wife especially likes the reuben. The soups are very tasty. I have never been disappointed. One concern, it's CASH ONLY.

This place is old school delicious. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns. All so good. The service was just great. They checked on us regularly, refilled our coffee, and were so friendly. It is a cash-only place, so if you wanna enjoy their pancakes, make sure you have some bills on you. If you want a good breakfast stop, do it! Stop... More

This is a small cafe catering to locals. It is off the main street. Few tourists know of it. They serve breakfast and lunch only, and are closed by 2 pm. My wife and I eat here about 3 times a month. I usually have pancakes. They cover the plate and are 1/4 inch thick, more like a crepe. Outstanding.... More

We went to Little Swiss based on the reviews of others, and we were so happy we chose it! First - it is CASH ONLY. They do have a sign when you first come in the door that says cash only and tells you where an ATM is (2 blocks over), but the place isn't huge, so it's best to... More

We had breakfast there. Food was very good, service friendly. The only problem they take cash only, and we usually don't carry much cash on us.
