Good service. Very well done food. Special Lamb pasta was very good, risotto with shaved truffles was really well done. Would recommend.
We went here on a recommendation from a local realtor named Rose. She couldn't have been more right! This place was great! The portions were large, the price was great, and the service was wonderful. It's rare when I can't clean my plate but the pancakes were too much for me
We walked a mile or so out to breakfast, and it was worth the effort. The "Swiss" has a nice ambiance about it - loved the hand painted murals, open and comfortable, and cozy. The food was delicious, both the eggs/bacon, and the cheese blintzes were phenomenal (as good as they get according to my discriminating friend.) Definitely would go... More
Tucked away on a side street in central Carmel we found this small little cafe that served a great American breakfast. Yes some Swiss influence, true to its name, but this is a place for coffee, bacon and waffles more than anything else. Good portions and service.
The food here is excellent, but be sure to bring cash because they don't accept cards or checks. We enjoyed the French Dip (such tender beef!) and the Tomato Star Salad (nice assortment of nibbles). The service was friendly and prompt.
Very authentic blintzes, eggs cooked perfectly! Excellent service, homey atmosphere, the painting on the walls in the second room is very fascinating. It has old-world charm, good food and reasonable prices.
We were recommended by a local to try this place and we were delighted with the experience. A cosy welcoming place - very friendly staff and laid back, relaxing atmosphere. The breakfasts were terrific and hit the spot! There were 4 of us travelling from Australia and we had the usual discussion about the bill, which was perfectly reasonable. The... More
Ate breakfast at this small restaurant our first morning in Carmel. Best eggs benedict we have ever had. We have eaten there two more mornings and can also give high marks to their omelets and huevos ranchero. Large portions so bring your appetite. Service is friendly and attentive and the ambiance warm and inviting. Paintings on the walls are not... More
This is a cute little restaurant with a lot of charm. We went for breakfast and it was fine and reasonably priced just not amazing. My waffle tasted very salty for a waffle and they loaded everything with dollops of butter so it was pretty heavy. Service was so sweet and the place is quaint. I'd definitely visit again just...
