Drove up the California coast for a couple days in Carmel, CA. Used to go to the old standby Mondos for Italian food, which unfortunately had closed five or six years ago, but Little Napoli which is on the same street (Dolores) has carried on the tradition of good family style Italian food. We ordered the chicken parmesan which was... More

Little Napoli has a wonderful downtown location, good food and service. The Italian cuisine very well prepared and satisfying. The one drawback is that it often seems to get very busy, the service slows down. A good family and friends spot, however, and very reliable.

Little Napoli is a favorite in Carmel with locals and visitors alike. Good, simple Italian food and wonderful ambience and location in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. From minestrone and a salad, to the great cannelloni or meat or fish dishes, everything satisfies.

We've come here before for lunch/dinner, so we thought it would be a good stop for lunch yesterday when we were in town (nearing 1 p.m., mind you). We almost got up and left after waiting for 1/2 an hour because of their service, but their food is still good. We arrived around 1 p.m. for lunch to a mostly... More

Picked place because they were busy but not overloaded and we could sit outside in a sunlit court. Melon and prosciutto appetizer was excellent and our main pasta dishes (half portions for lunch) with a salad was very good. The olive oil and bread were tops!

Place was packed on recent Friday night but were able to eat at the bar without reservations. Glad we did as the meal was excellent. Tho Oso Buco would melt in your mouth, tender with wonderful favors, served with mashed potatoes. The arugula salad was the perfect to accompany the favors of the entree.

My sister and I came here first because it was dog friendly (and we had my dog with us), and secondly because of all the great reviews on-line. We were not disappointed. Very friendly wait staff that were very helpful. We sat outside and when it started cooling off we were offered blankets, really nice and clean microfiber blankets, to... More

As a family, we are spaghetti & meatball connoisseurs and Little Napoli's rendition is at the top of our list. While my children and I never vear away from pasta, my husband has the Hobo Stew which he says is the best stew he has ever had. Atmosphere feels Italian. The space can feel small when the restaurant is busy.... More

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant. It is a well run establishment. The menu is not large but both option we chose were fantastic. They have a great wine list. This is really a great option in Carmel.
