I love this place

I love this place. I have only been for breakfast, but love it. First they know how to make tea... I know that sounds funny, but most restaurants don't know how. And the scones - what can I say? I LOVE the scones. They are NOT like any other kind you have had, but you must try them. BE SURE... read more

Not since dining at Neiman's Rotunda have I found a place that simply oozes such an ancient atmosphere. My lord, you get an urge to purchase porcelain tea-cups when you visit this place. Charming place that makes you want to like it ... So, I've periodically re-visited every few years since the 70's giving it "another chance" & trying it... More

My parents brought me here for the first time about 50 years ago and I have been bringing my family and friends here ever since. Go for breakfast and be sure to order the scones. Slathered with butter, Tuck Box jams, and Devonshire cream, they are to die for! My wife and I both love the hot oatmeal that is... More

I have food sensitivities but I do have a business size card explanation which works well for most restaurants not here though.

We had a lovely breakfast here out in the courtyard. We both had poached eggs which were perfect and the hollandaise sauce was amazing. Would definitely come back!! Such a charming place.

The Tuck Box has been a favorite of mine for decades; my mother brought me here when I was little and my daughter and I have made it 'our place' since she was little. The scones are worth the drive, the tea pot collection is marvelous and the clotted cream so yummy and rich:)

This is a wonderful tea shop. Located on Delores; close to nearby art galleries. We had a relaxing lunch break. Let your feet do the walking. Park is difficult. We park on the outskirts of town. Tere are two public parking lots.

We went for lunch. It's a cute place with a tiny patio, we sat inside. Wife had the shrimp salad, tasted like canned shrimp to us (no taste at all.) I had a club sandwich, not much to recommend about it. Indifferent service. Not going back, no matter how cute it is!

Living in the past is not always a good thing, but coming back here was not great even for just one more visit. Staff was off putting, the building is worth seeing as it is a Comstock property.

A landmark in Carmel - we looked forward to finally trying it. We were a little early for lunch so we had breakfast. My wife had the Eggs Benedict and I had coffee and scones The were both excellent and just the right size. The atmosphere was very charming and the breeze felt great dining by an open courtyard window... More
